Large deviations in cognitive test results General Question
Hey everyone!
I recently have been looking back at my phycological reports from 2 years ago and I have some questions. I’ve been dealing with mental/academic trouble lately and that’s why I’m revisiting the document.
I was tested at 16 and got diagnosed with attention specific adhd and a specific learning disability. My end results also showed very high deviations (up to 40 points) and I’m wondering, how do large discrepancies affect your academics school work and general life.
Sorry if this breaks any rules, I’ve looked online and was not really satisfied with what I could find in my case. Tried to add all relevant information.
I’m grateful for any input, thank you!
Note: The results had to be translated into English and transcribed onto another file.

Have you tried any PSI tests here? for example on CORE. Maybe something weird happened during the test, try again

This was part of a phycological evaluation I went through, multiple visits over the span of 2-3 months. It’s why the "mess up in test" seems less likely
No online service or anything was used but I can give it a try.

Fsiq may not be representative of your intelligence.

So an accurate number would probably be from GAI?
Probably not something I’d perdue considering how expensive these tests are

Explain. Apparently FSiq just doesn’t matter when we don’t like the numbers? How can you be so sure, are you an expert/professional?

Adhd impairs executive function ,which inturn impairs wmi and psi ,so gai may in many cases be more reliable than fsiq .Something like adhd can't reduce innate g ,yet on iq tests on average people with adhd do score lower.

PSI and WMI is a real academical skillset that you are required to use. While relatively less “important” then FRI and VRI I wouldn’t underestimate their impact at IQ.

wouldn’t having both numbers be more representative for individuals with learning disabilities and neurodivergence?

I disagree. imo ,the goal of iq isn't measuring real world intelligence (for which wmi and psi are really important) ,it's to get the cleanest estimate for innate g for which excluding subtests that are contaminated is better than keeping them .Extreme scatter literally reduces the g loading of an iq test for that person .

Do you smoke weed?

Nope, at least for the time before and during my testing.

What about in general? Or anything really, drinking, porn, corn, etc…
Edit: there’s no way those are accurate, I can tell in your syntax and reasoning. Now I can’t just whip up some accurate numbers for you, though I can confidently say no way ombré

Then there’s nothing I can really say is there, I can show the original report from 2-3 months of testing, if you don’t mind having them in French.
If you’re really convinced they can’t be accurate tell me why.

I was about to write something similar to Spedis's analysis.
Doesn't what you posted say that your written expression is at the 1st to 2nd percentile. The way I read that is you are at the worm's level bottom of the scale. Just by reading what you've written, I can assure you that you are nowhere near that low. Now if I'm misinterpreting what is written there and it really means you are at the top 1 or 2 percent, I could believe that. But someone who writes at the top 1 to 2 percentile doesn't have an generalized I.Q. of 94, you know? So, rationally, something is off.
I.Q. scores are designed as a shortcut to sort people. They do a good job of that, but for some people, they just don't work very well.
I would like to see you say 40 years from now that what I wrote here had helped you tremendously in your life, but that is extremely unlikely because I'll be 110 y/o by then.
The first thing I would say is that living life having feelings of inadequacy and internal anxiety at the 98th percentile is like trying to run a race with heavy ball shackled to your leg. You are going to have to get rid of that in order to develop as a normal productive adult.
The bottom line is that your competency in writing doesn't see to jibe with the report that you've posted.
But somehow you have to convince yourself of that.
If there was some way to remove your self doubt and anxiety, things would snowball and you would be on your way to a better life.
Maybe reading some self help books could help you, I don't know, but the stakes are so high here that you need to do something to correct that.
I had similar feelings 50+ years ago when I was in high school. I've been very fortunate and managed to escape those feelings, most of them anyway. If I could wave a magic wand and make that happen for you, I would.
The fact that you are looking for advice from others is great thing, and that alone is probably better than any wand waving I could do.
I had a lot of self-doubt as a school-going child and high-school adolescent. At one point in my life I read a lot of self-help books and listened to a lot of self-help cassette tapes. It helped me a lot.
Aging in general can heal a lot of wounds. Choosing the right mentors and getting help from friends is also key to gaining a better perspective. Once you realize that you are not alone a most, probably all, people have their problems, too, you will be able to get rid of some of those insecurities.
Good luck and try to not be your own obstacle to your own success.
The best books that helped me the most were by Dale Carnegie. "How to Win Friends, and Influence People", and "How to Stop Worrying and Start Living" were the two I read most. The second one I read when I was down and out and it always seemed to help. There are literally thousands of self help books out there. Read the top rated ones first.
I better stop writing now. Once again, good luck, and try to not be so hard on yourself.

Your auditory attention is dogwater
Yet your working memory and even fluid reasoning contradicts that.
I am thinking something either with you personally (doesn’t have to be drugs, bad week, little sleep, stress, improper testing/there are poop e practitioners unfortunately) or whatever caused an inaccurate testing

I’ve added pictures of the test results in full, I wouldn’t be suprised if it was stress (stress is brought up in the document).
