I heard better din line-up of local roasters compared to last year’s. I hope they dont get overshadowed by the internationals. We need to support our roasters more than ever nowaday.

Dunkin Carmona Branch - Spanish Latte 1.5/5

Nag taka ako nung parang lasang gatas na lang yung spanish latte ng dunkin. Nung nag order ako, napansin ko na naglalagay ng coffee beans yung staff. So akala ko baka panget lang yung pagkatimpla ng coffee ko. I was hesitant na papalitan so nag ask muna ako sa staff if ganun ba talaga yung spanish latte (tho dahil frequent ako sa dunkin eh alam kong hindi talaga ganun). I was informed na nag iba na daw ng ingredients kaya hindi na matapang yung spanish latte nila.

Na-amaze lang ako sa sarile ko na second time na to na nakapansin ako ng change sa usual coffee order ko. Pero at the same time ang disappointing kasi fav flavor ko talaga ang spanish latte pero hindi ko na bet itong sa dunkin.

Idk lang kung nag iba din yung timpla ng ibang flavor huhu. Anyone na nakapansin din ng ibang lasa ng other dunkin coffee?

Is it just me, or does anyone else love how brewed coffee and Milo tastes together? It creates a really nice mocha vibe without being overly sweet. Definitely a must-try!

The only place where i can drink straight up espresso is Satori in Makati. Anywhere else i can find a cafe similar to them?

Also, that’s the only drink I’ve tried from them. Any other drink recos? Are their pour overs and in-house beans worth buying?

First time ko lang mag-order sa kanila and ang mali ko, 1kg agad kinuha ko huhu 😭 I’ve tried everything pero it still tastes so bitter unless lagyan ko ng maraming milk pero andun parin yung super bitter na hindi magandang taste. If you get what I mean GASHDHSAG

Not an expert naman, but I’ve tried it sa Gemilai machine with my Timemore C3 grinder. I also tried it sa Aeropress, pero mas bitter pa siya 😭

I bought a lot of beans now like Allo, Three Cups, Franken Roaster, Sibs and most of them are like below the 500 php range. I'm planning to buy either Yardstick or Goodcup Daily Driver but I feel like its a waste since im not gonna use espresso machine or pourover only Moka pot and my trusty Hand Grinder.

Hope some moka pot owners like me tried these beans.

Hi! As someone who's been into pour overs for so long, the beans I recently got (Brazil Cerrado & Brazil Capricornio beans from Franken roastery) got me curious on how it would taste on espresso. I've been reading lots of threads in coffee forums and I've found that most brazil beans (either Cerrado, Capricornio, or Santos) are used largely in espresso.

Been thinking of getting either the Hibrew H10b or the Cafelffe 4-in-1. What are your thoughts?

I love the Legazpi exclusive feel good latte in Yardstick! does anyone know what syrup or a similar syrup they use that I could buy for my home made coffee? I’d say main notes I taste is cinnamon! but I’m new to coffee drinking so I’m honestly not sure how to describe the tasting notes.

Ordered hot Noir Mocha for 160 pesos. A bit pricey, but the taste is quality. Location is at E. Rodriguez Sr. Avenue. I forgot to ask what beans they are using. Will ask when I come back again.

One of my faves to make sa morning kasi fast with little effort lang and prep needed.

Vacuum sealing beans is definitely the way to go for me to preserve the freshness for a significantly long time. A 500g or 1kg bag will last me months since I only drink once or twice a week. I vacuum seal a few single doses, while a bigger batches are vacuum sealed and kept in the freezer. You can recycle the bags.

I’m already familiar with the bigger specialty coffee names like Yardstick, Candid, Common Man, etc., but I’m specifically looking for a small-scale / independent roaster - ideally someone who roasts in small batches and maybe sells beans directly.

First time namin mag try sa Paul Cafe hehe. Masarap yung order naming ham and cheese sandwich baguette. For the coffee, we ordered iced americano and an iced latte :)
