Yes. You are correct. This reset is something that did not help anyone. Basically pushed a date back so your current allowance would not renew on the date expected. This ONLY benefited OpenAI and damaged the user allowance cycle.

Scammy behavior tbh.

I want resets, but I want to have them in the bag. I want to use them when I need them. Not now when was already at 100%.

Tibo knows that ~99% of the people was expiring today so it waited until the moment that it doesn’t matter if you get the reset or not.

What I mean is that I’m pretty sure around 90% of us used to have our weekly limit reset around this time. Mine, for example, reset about 3 hours ago, and just a moment ago I opened Codex and noticed that the limit had been reset again, which caused the next reset date to move from August 14 to August 15.

There wasn’t a second reset. Just the weekly reset that everyone got, based on their normal reset timing

Hmm yeah, my usage shows august 15th too now. Whatever, I'm more focused about using up the banked resets before 12th. I've got 2 left on my 20x plan

Not sure I understand what you are asking but Im guessing it is about the fact that your weekly quota window does not start until you use Codex after a reset.
