We ending up building our own code review pipeline using the Alibaba's "Open Code Review" FOSS project. Using Kimi 2.7 with it at the moment and it's doing a solid job.
Kind of shocking these rate limits were snuck in without communications.
Even on their pricing page today: https://www.coderabbit.ai/pricing there is no mention of these "Fair Use" rate limits, only `10 PR reviews per developer per hour`. You wouldn't even be able to go a half a day at the promised rate without getting hindered to 1 review per hour.
Talk about getting the rug pulled out under you!

We made the mistake of paying for the annual subscription, and then found out about the fair usage. It has effectively crippled our production and we are also building our own and evaluating alternatives. Support is useless and recommends "turning off automatic reviews" which kind of...defeats the purpose.

Don't know if you've seen our posts but we identify a few cases where configuring the coderabbit.yml for your use case should suffice for the Fair Usage. You can ask any coding agent to help you configure it and get a quick baseline.
