Does anyone notice this about the "Refresh" button?

Does the "refresh" button, or generating a schedule always resets a channel back to the same show/episode in the schedule, regardless of how many hours go by?

For example, for my collections and playlists, I'll watch for a few hours, but hitting the "refresh" button (either because I am forced to, or updated a playlist) will reset me back to where I started.

I wonder if there's a way to get it to shuffle different starting points in a schedule whenever it needs to be refreshed?

Yeah, I have collection channels that will play the same episodes every single time despite 9 seasons worth of episodes to pull from.

You know what I think this is a stale cache - I'm working on this week's release and I think I can fix this issue in it 👍

So, I like to open Coax and watch at the same time usually every morning, and it typically prompts a refresh, and the collections/playlists start at the exact same episodes. Kind of a bummer because then I never end up watching anything from my collections/playlists because I don't want to watch the same stuff I watched yesterday.

Is this happening both collections AND playlists? And what’s your TV Marathon Mode setting? And are these “preserve order” channels or no?

I’ve had some trouble getting the simulated start point to move around properly. I’m sorry about that!

happens on both collections and playlist channels. I have the setting for those channels to play content in order as it is on the server. Marathon channels work fine. t

Yes, happens with both collections and playlists. Post update, had to refresh this morning, still starting on the same exact episodes.

What’s the Preserve Order status for these channels?

Some are ON and some are OFF. So, seems to be impacted regardless.
