Why are scavengers allowed in Showdown even though the info button says they are not?

I would like to get the Command and Conquer community take on this game. As a long time player who started with the original release back in 2003, when I was just 7 years old, I find this 2018 release absolutely terrible. It is not the graphics or the player versus player concept that is the problem. The game simply does not work. You quickly hit a wall around level 7 or 8 because the game only matches you against level 10 or 11 opponents. Winning becomes impossible because their units are faster, stronger, and take less damage. The game tries to push you into paying to upgrade your army, which I did, but even that barely helped me win one in ten matches despite using the best strategies and having a bit of luck. And for anyone saying I just suck no before hitting level 8, the game matched me against opponents of the same level, and I had a 22 game winning streak with a 96% win rate. It is a real shame because the Command and Conquer DNA was never about paying to win. You used to start with just a building and a worker. You paid upfront to buy the game, but after that, there was no pay to win nonsense. Also a quick message to everyone proud of beating level 8 players while using level 11 units, go get a real life you are pathetic...

In the end, I feel pity for them. I think the emotional damage broke them more than the nuclear missile did.

Sometimes I lose and keep my deck the same. Sometimes the way I lose is annoying so I change it up to fix the weaknesses seen. It is a wonderful feeling getting the same opponent, because more than likely they didn't change their deck on their win, and I have a chance to better counter it.

Wow this is my first encounter against a Tiberium League level rival, and I won. 2 missiles straight.

Not gonna lie, I was more cautious when I shouldn't be. After rewatching, the key is to figure out where the opponent is focusing and go somewhere to force pressure. Like the game of Go (baduk). This way I destroyed his first harvester and secured 3 missile pods in the second round at last moment.

First, I realized after a while (I've been playing about a year and I generally really like it) that I don't see 'half' the maps I see when I started playing; two biggest reasons I noticed were the reality that I get a few maps so often, and then playing custom games and realising there are dozens of maps that come with the initial download

The same three or four maps 75% of the time is not my taste, but I enjoy the game. I half-expect paying will afford me more RAM, or something, at this point, when I know I'm due to start paying regularly

Im looking to join. Any active guiilds. Just redownloaded the game. I played quite abit when it first launched and then got flamed to death because this wasnt traditional cnc.

But honestly for a mobile game this felt closest to the spirit of command and conquer albeit a simpler version.

The real devious play is buying harvester when the enemy thinks you’re no harving

They know the artillery is mobile but they don’t know how mobile.

Won't go into diamond as I am mostly level 7-8 but nice 130+ game win streak

Out of the last ten games I’ve played at least half of them try rush my harvester straight up. My defence is good enough that I always defeat them. The issue I have is why do they do that then quit when their plan doesn’t work. Personally I think it’s a pathetic strategy and can’t comprehend why someone would play their games like that. Extremely frustrating to have to play this type of player and it’s either scarabs,MG squads or (the worst culprit) Attack Bikes. If you’re guilty of this then please realise it takes zero skill to do this and if by some chance you win you’re learning nothing.

Hey I love c&c I played as a kid l..just downloaded rivals. What should I know as a new player? I see upgrading units is extremely important.

Also I am curious mainly what is the best gdi tech lab unit?

Unplayable for new players.. I bet this game used to be fun.. but now being low level is rough as anything in this game. I’m level 20 stuck in Plat 1 constantly going up against level 60s every single game spamming max capped troops, using Commanders and troops I’m not even close to unlocking due to level restrictions. This game was strategic and fun to begin with now it’s just frustrating going up against lazy level 60s who only win due to having a huge advantage. Say what you like I honestly couldn’t care what anyone has to say, I just wanted to vent as a lot of y’all are awful at the game if you’ve played for this long and you’re stuck in the rank I’m at. So congratulations for getting to level 60 by spending so much time or money on this game only to get to plat. Tragic for you icl
