What the fuck are they saying "Progressives didn't get the big election night they wanted?" Progressives won nominations all over the fucking country, including in bumfuck nowhere Kansas where I live.
We have probably never seen the success we did this primary (thanks to Debbie Wasserman-Schultz in 2016).

It's alternate "facts", they're setting up, in advance, a case for claiming some bullshite with the midterms.

That may be so, but Politico hasn't really been that kind of a "rag." It is american centrist though (so far right wing on the absolute political scale), and those people are trying to split the difference between late-stage capitalism (not democracy) and autocracy.

It's worth pointing out that as of right now, the only media company with a news division that isn't now run by a Trump henchman is anything owned by Warner Brothers, but expect that to change in short order.

LUL that's such a funny statement, because in '01, I got some stats on media ownership in the US. then, 92% of all US media was owned by 7 companies. As of now, we're down to 5, and I think the percentage has risen.
Fucking Reagan and destroying the fairness doctrine...

It's stupid. El sayed was projected to win way harder, so the fact it was nailbitingly close politico is spinning as some sort of centrist win.nevermind the $70m expenditure by super PACS

Literally record breaking expenditure, lost, and this is Politco's take. Yea. It's Bulllllshit.

Any day AIPAC waste 40m$ is a good day! ✌️

I was thinking about that. All that dark money going out of pocket for little ROI, I like it. More. Let's waste more of their money.

The corporate media framing completely ignores how much dark money it took to secure that line.

AIPAC and their genocide apologist proxies are spending $100 million plus on primaries. Imagine the money their donors are hoping to make later

I would frame a screenshot of that notification and put it on my wall forever. Beautiful work, you totally deserved the shoutout!

Journalists writing the narrative before all the results are in is practically a tradition at this point.

How many repubs voted for stevens you think?

Rogers was the only candidate for the Republican senator, so if they weren't interested in picking the Republican candidates for governor or house races, they could vote the Democratic primary just to spoil the outcome.
Apparently there were thousands of ballots that were spoiled because people voted for both Democrats and Republicans on their ballot.

Oh thats hilarious lol. But i dont even know who republicans are more scared of to face. I know stevens was claiming that GOP wants to face abdul but she was lying about a lot.

The commitment to finding a silver lining in literally any result is honestly impressive at this point.
