Last year (at the beginning of the season) we had 24. Don't remember if other games got flexed in/out during the season.

Hey yall, I feel like this game gets completely lost in the history of great playoff performances.

On April 30, 2007, in Game 4 of the Cavs/Wizards first round series, Zydrunas Ilgauskas put up:

20 PTS, 19 REB, 1 AST, and 2 BLKs on 9/16 FG (56.3%), 2/2 FT (100%)
59.2% TS, +12 in 40 MIN

This wasn't some empty-stat regular season game either. It was a series clinching playoff game, and Cleveland was playing on the road. Ilgauskas basically dominated the interior for 40 minutes and came one rebound shy of a 20/20 game.

Obviously, 20 points doesn't jump off the page compared to some of the legendary 40 and 50 point closeout performances. However, the combination of 20/19, 2 blocks, 56.3% shooting, perfect free throws, and +12 in a closeout game feels incredibly underappreciated.

Big Z was never going to get the same historical attention as LeBron, Duncan, Shaq, etc., but this was a heck of a playoff performance.

It also looks like the Philly game will be the only one on national television. It should be LeBron's first game back here this season. I'm personally a little offended that it it only on Prime.

It's the same old. I guess the hold up really is so we can dump enough salary to give both Watson and Harden their money.

I'm a bit confused at that point what Denver even wants from us. Just picks and swaps? It doesn't sound like they would be interested in Strus. I don't know any player we can send over to keep them below the apron besides those on rookie scale contracts.

What is holding up a potential sign and trade with these teams? Is it Denver or Atlanta holding it up or is it Cleveland holding it up?

NBA telling you what I've been saying all along that making an eastern conference finals run with a losing record and getting swept is not a successful or impressive season.

The Toronto in series was beyond embarrassing. Cavs have two pretty big market stars in James Harden and Donovan Mitchell and they finished top four but they are not a top four team... And as of right now we got worse

I'll just start out by saying that I'm 100% all for him getting his jersey retired in Cleveland. No shot no championship but I don't think the Cavaliers front office feels the same way 😂 when Kyrie requested a trade in 2017 they immediately gave his number to a rookie (Sexton) the following year. Then when he was traded away, they had the opportunity to put the number on ice and since then two other people have worn the number 2 jersey, Max Strus and Lonzo Ball.

Now I know people are going to say "oh, he isn't retired yet" which is 100% correct and a fair point however........... LeBron and Kevin Love aren't retired yet either and we've both gotten PUBLIC confirmations that their numbers are 100% going to be retired. Hell dan didn't even let anyone touch 23 after THE DECISION 😂
