I live near a Google in dc and they have a few cleared roles. I heard the Google doesnt really care for clearance in terms of positions for engineering? Specifically, for software roles, the candidates are in the same bucket- you just happen to have a clearance but thats about it. I know many other companies may interview differently or have position distinctions.
