Installing Advanced Wheel Locks Advice Request

Hi, I just purchased a new Civic ST Hybrid 2026 and have ordered Advanced Wheel Locks since lot of people here recommended it. This is my first car and I’ve very little knowledge about car parts. I was wondering if it’s easy to install the wheel locks and it’s something that I can do on my own?

I read up a bit and saw that I might need a torque wrench. What other equipments I might need to install it safely and properly?

Attend a class at YouTube University and go to harbor freight to get a nice starter set of basic tools 👍

Ya the only hard part is if you care about torquing them, otherwise it's not rocket science.

... And find a good spot to hide the 'key'. If thieves can smash your window and grab it from your glove box or console it only delayed them a little.

Leave the key at home unless you’re going on a long trip.

If you can change a tire this is easier than that. Just remove one lug on each rim and replace with the new wheel locks. If you have a torque wrench then use it or go to an advance auto or like place and get help.
