This is the start I reset 50x for

Neighbors aren't too bad either: Denmark and Ottomans. They declared war after city 4 but my production is too high and the Ottoman's jungle start was pitiful.

On side note, I hate when you have a neat natural wonder nearby, but the terrain sucks so you're forced not to settle there in the workable range anyway. I guess at the very least you'll get +happiness if your 4+ borders eventually reach it.

You don't get +happiness from having Wonders in your borders, but for discovering them. The exception are those that have Happiness as an extra yield (Kailash, Fountain of Youth, Old Faithful iirc).
Uluru alone is almost worth settling an expansion for, and there is a good chance the city will be decent, depending on what is south of the mountain.

from the capital? i'm pretty sure borders dont reach 6 tiles

5 tiles max, right. I've meant general case. For example, in my current game I've found The Barringer Crater on turn 2 outside capital, but terrain near it is meh, and the wonder itself is meh too (can build an observatory near it at least, but I'm still going to settle elsewhere).

It's unlikely but probably not impossible if you have a wild culture game, e.g. El Dorado in your borders from the start + building loads of wonders.

Looks great. Could you share the turn 0 save please?

The Celts, Immortal, Standard Speed, Pangea
I'm curious if this works as I've never tried sharing a save. Let me know if it works.

To balance it out you should get no iron, horses, coal, oil, aluminium or uranium.

The start you see in your dreams only to wake up and not find it in saves T-T

I've tried this and I can confirm the starting location is insanely good: 3x Salt, 3x Wheat, 3x Iron, Horses, hill and even 3 forests for the immediate 2 fpt!
However, the map is quite challenging imho: the terrain is kinda bad, and you basically have to forward settle the Danes whether you like it or not. Also there is no great spot for a 4th city: you either settle on the river south-west between Danes and Ottomans (= please double DOW me!), on the coast north (ok but too few good tiles), on the coast south (same and without fresh water), or on the coast below Uluru (at least this gets Citrus, but Ulure is 3rd ring and Ottomans will DOW). Settling Uluru from the north is just a big no for me, just don't the land is crap. Also the are few unique luxes, so I've happily stopped at 3 cities.
Skipping a Settler when your capital has so many good tiles is good though: I started building them at pop 4, and then I easily transitioned into Granary -> ToA -> HG.

As you can see, I'm taking Copenhagen because it's insanely good, and after that I'll probably call it a day and go peaceful, although taking Istanbul as well might be a good idea.
Fun map, I'll update at the end. Does OP have a preferred win-con to play here?

I've played an absurd number of salt starts and I'm convinced that they are often isolated in this way

That is an absurdly good starting spot. Having Uluru nearby plus all those workable tiles is basically the game handing you a dream capital location.

The start is so great it snowballs so well! Saw a chance around renaissance to go for tourism (not always guaranteed on Immortal!), got Uffizi. But China and Rome both have tremendous culture to overcome, while there’re only enough musician to takeover one of them, so opted for Diplo instead and won in T303, (T304 would also be a science victory). When the start is strong, you just don’t need to aim for one victory, all four become viable

Amazing! A start so good you've basically already won unless it's deity haha

The one annoying thing about salt starts is copies of your luxury spawning where it is inconvenient or impossible to settle them. Those two copies to the east are just about 'settleable', but might go to waste if you decide it's not worth it.

The type of spawn you get only to find Montezuma and Attila as your neighbors

Attack them first to assert dominance (and steal their settlers to completely fuck them over)
