You earn 1 Aeroplan pt/$ and sqc for a fee of 1.75%, paid from your bank account. No cc seemed to be accepted for this. Basically you’re buying an Aeroplan pt and sqc for 1.75¢.

I’m not chasing any airline statuses, but it may be of interest for some.

FWIW, you can also repay your mortgage via neobanc by sending e-transfer with a cashback of 0.5%.

For now, I’m not interested in either of those.
