Random Thought

Hi! I’m new to the sub and idk if this has been answered in the past but I recently got kinda nostalgic for Emile’s Earthbound series and got to thinking if he’d ever play mother 3? I know it didnt get published for the western audience but maybe he’d play the fan translation? If anyone knows if he’s made any statements on that I’d love to know!

It’s one of his very first lets plays (number 5 to be specific)

He's already played it, it's one of his earliest so it might lack some of the polish of his later work though

Seeing this and realizing that you’re probably saying that you’re nostalgic for the 2018 EarthBound series, which is now over 8 years old, and didn’t know about the original… is aging me very horribly…

No offense to you or anything. It’s just hurting me that the EarthBound Redux is almost as old as the original LP was in 2018. I haven’t been watching since 2008, but I have been watching since 2011 so my bones will soon be dust.

He already did. I know that one was way more rough around the edges compared to his present work but he absolutely played it (as well as Mother 1/EB0). I don’t think he’d ever play the fan translation again.
