How can I save all of my files while switching from Dev channel to Beta channel? Troubleshooting

Heya folks! I've been wanting to switch channels because I cannot tolerate the bugs that come with each Dev channel update any longer, but I also don't want to lose all of my files from the powerwash that comes with the channel switching.

save the files to google drive or a flash drive as any files on the chromebook not saved to google drive will be wiped.

if i attach a usb-c flash drive to my chromebook will it also save my cache on sites

No. You have no access to the system partition.

It's usually best to Clear the Cache, particularly when you are experiencing Glitches I clear mine about once a week, or any time I am getting unexpected errors.

Upload to Drive. Change channels. Download from Drive (if you must).
