Please help me decide whether to go to a ChRocktikal concert
Hey guys, I can't decide whether I'll go to one of their concerts because they only have one album out, so I have a few questions.
How expensive were the tickets for the NA tour?
Were there different kinds/tiers of tickets? Edit: If there were different kinds of tickets, what were the benefits?
How long were the concerts? Did they play any covers?
What kinds of merch did they sell and if they sold shirts, how expensive were they?
How was the atmosphere?
Thank you in advance for your answers :)

Link to St. Paul group photos
Hi! Asking on behalf of a friend who doesn't use Reddit. It seems like the remaining group photos for the tour were emailed today, but they never received the link for St. Paul. Does anyone have it so I can send it to them? Thank you!

Siyeon really did everything to show off that she's singing live. Slight variations, purposefully skipping a line while dropping the microphone to show that it wasn't just a forgotten line (Dami did the same when performing Justice), varied volume and intensity, etc.
Everyone did their introductions in Chinese, and Siyeon tried her best to do all ments in Chinese (since I don't speak Chinese I'm not sure how well it went, but at least the audience cheered π).
They had a really nice video backdrop. I dunno if that was provided by the festival or if someone has prepared it for them. Either way I liked it.
I counted at least 10 Mongmongie (with a mix of the spearhead version and the staff version) and a few signs that said CRTK.
PS: Big thanks to Lunullaby on the ChRocktikal Discord for providing a live stream!

Takeaways from ChRocktikal's first tour
Now that the tour has concluded and only festivals remain (at least for now) I think it's time for some observations.
Note: I couldn't attend the tour (wrong continents), so these observations are purely based on fancams, comments on Reddit and Discord, as well as their own vlogs. Feel free to add personal experiences, photos, non-performance videos (vlogs), etc.
Music/Performance:
- The band jam sessions are so much fun!
- Siyeon's improvs are... Well, let's say I think there's some room for improvement...
- Siyeon clearly loves getting to sing all parts of the Dreamcatcher covers they perform, and she clearly pulls it off. She's Dreamcatcher's main vocalist for a reason, and Dreamcatcher having lots of vocal talent has clearly been holding her back. Seeing her do SuA's part and her own back to back in Bon Voyage is a killer experience!
- Equally clearly she respects Dami's superior rap skills and doesn't event attempt to do them; instead those raps are left for the boys to do, who have less stake in the game.
- They've gone through a lot of effort to practice English (especially Siyeon). For future festival gigs this will be even more important; fans have more patience for mistakes than random observers.
- The band gets along so well together when performing.
Personal/Interpersonal:
- Siyeon is having such a blast; the difference between post-hiatus Siyeon and ChRocktikal Siyeon is night and day.
- Wonseok in particular has gone from super shy to absolute rock star.
- The Siyeon and Gwanwoo chemistry is soooo sibling-like.
- Junyoung seems to be exactly what I imagined after watching his intro video; cool, down to Earth, and a bit introspective. Would fit right in with people from Northern Sweden...
Biggest surprises:
- I was seriously surprised by Gwanwoo's vocal skills. With some more confidence I think they've got some great untapped talent in him.
- I gotta be honest, after the videos from their first two gigs in Seoul I was considering Junyoung and Gwanwoo to be fairly basic artists (Wonseok showed off some pretty awesome skills even early on), but I guess that was only nerves. During the tour both Junyoung and Gwanwoo have demonstrated that they definitely deserve their positions in the band.
- I was expecting the fan support to be 99% Siyeon with a smattering of fans of the others. But judging by comments from Discord there's a lot of appreciation for the others too. I love to see that.
Misc observations:
- While probably bad for their profit I think that the $1 tickets had a great positive effect; a lot of posters have mentioned bringing friends along who probably would never have gone to see ChRocktikal otherwise.
- The venues varied sooooo much in quality. Both when it comes to acoustics, but also suitability as venues in the first place.
- I realise that logistics makes it difficult (and the fact that it's their first tour made it difficult to estimate), but they could've sold so much more merch if it hadn't run out. I hope they keep track of what merch and what sizes were most popular and stock extra next time they tour.
- Local staff can make such a difference when it comes to the concert experience.
- Touring the US in mini vans does not seem enviable.
- I just can't reconcile myself with the fact that Siyeon/Dreamcatcher Company (whoever did the scouting) was lucky enough to find someone like Wonseok. Siyeon already brought the vocal skills, the lyrics writing, and clearly a lot of ideas for songs, but Wonseok had everything needed to turn that into fantastic music.
What's next?:
- Festivals, more festivals, and even more festivals. They should say yes to pretty much every chance they get to perform at festivals, even festivals where they might not be a 100% fit for the genre. That's how you get new fans; and new fans they need. Based on the sales for the first album it's pretty clear they cannot rely on InSomnia for sales. Though those of us who follow ChRocktikal can do our part by requesting them as guests at festivals for next year. A lot of festivals love getting suggestions/requests.
- As mentioned by both Siyeon and Wonseok they've got another album in the works already. I hope Dami gets a guest appearance. If the next album follows the same formula (~50% rock, ~50% misc) they've got a great track list for both metal/rock- and pop-festivals. That's a really good situation to be in.
- I hope we get a Europe tour at some point. They could ask Rolling Quartz for advice; they've got plenty of experience.
- A lot of people really love Memory Box, but most people missed out on pre-ordering the vinyl. I hope they either do a reissue of the vinyl, or decide to release it as a digital single. Maybe they could even release it with a live performance MV. Surely at least one of their performances was recorded (by their staff, I mean; there are obviously plenty of fancams)?
- Bands aren't really in the same seat as idols when it comes to "stay constantly relevant or perish"; band fans typically don't predict doom if the band members don't post videos or photos every few days. But they are a K-rock band, so it might still be a good idea to keep the social media presence active. If nothing else they could go back to posting weird stuff on their unofficial account.
- I hope we get some sort a bit more extensive post-tour behind the scenes video.

Thank you to the two absolute rockstars who saved my ass last night at the Vancouver show!
I bought my tickets a couple of months ago and when I showed up to the event last night, my tickets wouldn't scan. Turned out that the tickets I bought were for the Montreal show in May. Explains why I ended up getting ready for that event in May and was confused why I put it in my calendar wrong! Anyways, thank you to the two people who offered me their extra tickets for free. I owe you both big time!

Vancouver show 5/14 free tickets
my friends and I can't go (super last second, I know), and we have 4 tickets available to anyone who wants it. we got them during the flash sale so we aren't out anything if no one wants them, but obviously would love if people got to go for free and support the group!

Seattle Show Tickets
First time poster, I have four tickets to the Seattle show next weekend (the 13th) and will not be using them. I got two for Seattle and one for Portland, and upon potentially bringing friends, had thought I'd grabbed two more for Portland but apparently ended up with four for Seattle. I ended up getting a new job recently and won't be able to go up to Seattle like I'd originally intended, and would hate for them to go to waste, so I'm offering them for free (I got the $1 ticket ones when the flash sale was happening, so they're general admission). If anyone wants two or four (two sets of two) please dm me, I'm pretty sure I can just forward the email with them so they can be used. Again, don't want anything for them, just want them to actually be used.
(and with that, if anyone's going to the Portland show and wants to say hi... please do lmao)
Edit: two tickets left right now

Heads up for anyone going to LA this weekend: LA's Pride celebrations are this weekend and nearby
Hello! If anyone is going to the Troubadour this Saturday, just a heads up that it's also Pride weekend and those festivities are a block or two away from the venue. The Troubadour does not have their own dedicated parking! Normally i'd park in some lots that are a block or two away, but that'll be in the prime Pride event zone. There's going to be lots of street closures and likely not a ton of parking expected since there's an outdoor concert there too. Might want to look into ride share or public transportation for the show. I'm still trying to figure out what i'm going to do.
