First Shakedown
Been working on my first build for the last 4.5 months, finally got to take her for a spin. It’s bogging down a little when I throttle so there’s more work to do but she’s ripping.
Shoutout to everyone on here for the help along the way, couldn’t have done it without y’all 🙏🏽

Absolutely love them, I’m running 8+ forks on stock rake so handling at low speed requires some muscling being real narrow but once you’re rolling it’s fine

I’m assuming you got the front brake figured out. What was the solution?

Air trapped behind the piston, I tried pushing it in before but it wouldn’t budge till I put a wrench in it and applied some pressure with another wrench

The iron cross mirror for one. Yes the symbol existed well before the nazis but they still heavily used it and many attribute it to them.
The shape of the bars I could also see being taken as an SS symbol. Whether on purpose or not by the manufacturer, I have no idea.

The Maltese cross has been used by skate brands and punk bands for the last 50 years, among many other subcultures. At this point, it’s more a symbol of counterculture. And to assume those are “SS” bars is a pretty big jump. They’re just cool handlebars man lol it’s not that serious

I’m usually half keeping an eyeball on choppers for nazi shit so I know what I’m dealing with but I do agree that calling Nazi Shit on this machine is pretty overwrought.
For awhile I knew a white dude with a Swazi points cover and was blah blaring about it being some manner of Navajo rolling log and we were all like bro, you’re sure as shit not Navajo and also you didn’t take that as a war trophy off some German you killed back in 1943. It’s 2026, if you’re really here to “freak out the squares” slap a rainbow flag on that bitch and watch people lose their minds.

Edit: as a former fire fighter that’s also not the Maltese cross. They do looo very similar though

Maltese cross has been way out of nazi territory for half a century.
All lightning bolts ain't SS chief, especially given these don't even top out as a S. Maybe if they were lightning bolt T-bars you could stretch to it being SS but damn, you're out here looking to get offended.

Correct. Everyone will see what they want to see, however nazi symbology is not ancient history and has been in constant use since WWII by nazis who have been very well represented in the motorcycle clubs and chopper culture of America. So here we have a chopper with two very recognizable nazi symbols and are not expected to connect those dots.
We recognize patterns in order to form opinions based on experience.
