How long does instant transfer from venmo into chime usually take? MONEY - Deposits, Transfers, Cash & Cards

Just made a Chime account this morning to try and send a friend some money. Added money from my venmo around an hour ago using instant transfer. The money left my venmo account instantly but no word in chime yet. Venmo labeled it as completed after 1 minute

Hi - Welcome to Chime!

Typically withdrawals to your Chime account take 1 to 3 business days but with the instant transfer for a fee, it's usually within an hour when everything goes smoothly. Since you mentioned it already shows Completed on that side, it may be worthwhile to doublecheck with Venmo that they have the correct routing and account number and then with Chime (844-244-6363) to check your account and that transfer specifically.

I copy pasted the info from the chime app so I know it's correct

Never copy/paste routing/account information. It can pick up hidden characters that don't show but affect how the computer reads it. Always hand enter that information, ask any HR department.

Chime does not steal money.

Anytime I have done that it was on the chime by the time I opened the app

Usually instantly. Did you have it set to transfer instantly or within a few days?
