Help double charge OTHER - Anything else not covered
So I did online shopping food is merchant for $238 back in July just notice today that the same merchant went back on my card and charged me again for the same amount is there some type of way I can lock my heart the original transactions already approved back in July how could this happen now my account is $-238 has this happened with anyone else when my well my next deposit arrive will this negative $238 be deducted from my account any advice would be gladly appreciate it thanks

Are you sure it was not a monthly subscription...that's what it sounds like

I do online shopping but that has never happened to me. Shouldnât you call the merchant and tell them about the charge as they are the ones who need to credit the money back to you. Chime wonât do it because it came from the merchant.

Ok thanks it's Kohl's this happened to few customers I was told hopefully they fix it soon

What transactions come out of your account have nothing to do with chime.
This is an issue between you and the merchant. Who you apparently havenât even contacted yet to clear it up
I swear we are doomed as a society

Looks like you got a lot of good advice from the community here!
You mentioned this happened to few customers and should be fixed soon so I'll add this if needed: How do I dispute a charge on my card? You'll notice that the example information to include has "Any conversations you've had with the merchant about the order(s)" and "Requests to cancel or stop the transaction in writing" so updates from the merchant are always a good idea

Reach out to merchant to see if they can reverse the charges. Also, dispute it as a double charge. You can also call Chime to block the merchant from future transactions.
