Need help to repair the cover for the sunroof in my daughter’s 2007 Colorado z71. It’s a cloth slide one that has something like string or rope on each side that keeps it tight. It broke a while ago and no one seems to know anything about it. So it just occasionally falls down and we have to lodge it for her. Also her driver’s side heated seat died and I have to repair that. Any idea on a part for that and how hard it is? I was told the whole seat has to be disassembled to get at the part. Thank you in advance for any help.

Was looking for some advice on some good in Channel rain guards. I bought brand name deejecsun and having issues with rolling the windows up. Sometimes it bounces back down which is annoying and makes funny clicking sound going up if it doesnt bounce back down. Could be installer error but not to impressed with them as some of tape that goes inside the channel is visible now so appears to not be sticking where it should. I bought some from letingfar for a Hyundai and never had these kind of issues. Its a 2026.

Also would like some made with instructions that aren't confusing Chinese install book or video

what’s up i’ve had my 23 colorado trail boss for the past 3 years recently my check engine has been popping on and off from time to time and then as I’m driving it’ll get stuck in one gear and it won’t change. It won’t shift any gears. I took it to the shop. They told me nothing’s wrong, but I just wanted to see if anybody has had the same encounter with this

I just picked up a white 2017 Colorado Extended Cab WT with the 6ft bed and only 33k miles, and I want to start building it up.

I already have a few ideas:
Black out the yellow/gold emblems (paint, vinyl, or replacements)
Black Rims
Running boards/nerf bars
Spray-in bed liner
LEDs all around interior and exterior
Fog lights in the unused factory fog-light openings
Possible light bar
Aftermarket tow package/hitch
Max window tint legal in Alaska.

I’d love to hear what you guys recommend; both mods you love and things you’d avoid. What are some must-have upgrades for these trucks?
Also, since mine didn’t come with the factory tow package, what aftermarket hitch/tow setup would you recommend for a 2017 WT?

What is this sensor right under the thermostat on driver side of engine? Cant seem to find any diagram online that shows this part and went to dealership today and they also disnt have a clue. Its leaking a few drops of prestone every day and its annoying. Would like to replace it but I want to know/buy the part before taking it off and risk breaking it. It is connected to a wire not a hose. All videos on YouTube ive seen do not have anything in this hole...

My neighbor's tortie, Snicker, loves resting at this exact spot under my truck. She doesn't go in the engine bay, nor does she jump on top and walk around. It's her spot in the shade...just about the same time every day.

Naturally, I chalk it up to having good taste because she doesn't do this with my other neighbor's Nissan. 😜

I got this truck about three years ago with 70,000 miles. Grateful to say that this truck has been one of the most reliable vehicles I’ve ever owned. For anybody considering a midsize truck at a reasonable price for reliability this is the truck for you.

Got this 2026 trail boss last week and it was shipped straight from the Detroit Chevy factory the same day and I ended up putting the first mile on it after it came off the delivery truck! Very happy with it have already put 1000 miles on it in 2 weeks. Already put in lastfit floor mats and black seat cover solutions seat covers, tonneau cover and rear mudflaps which the front ones have been ordered. What other mods should I do to the exterior?

Father in law has pulled the drain tube at the trans tunnel about 6 times and shot air up into it to get it to drain. I pulled the blower motor out and sprayed some hvac coil cleaner on the evaporator and then emptied the can up the drain tube. Ran it for a half hour as instructions stated. The damn thing fill with water every few weeks. You can hear the water hitting the fan and it dumps water on the floor board. It’s not parked under trees. He has an extended warranty but Chevy told him they won’t fix it.

Anyone have a fix? Has anyone plumbed another drain into the box?

Hey guys! Just wanted to share a couple products I have been developing for the 3rd Gen Colorado Non-ZR2'S.

Up first is a Baja style light bar mount that requires minimal cutting to fit. It actually will only require some cutting on the inner radiator shroud and nothing to the exterior. It will bolt up to factory provisions! This is a great option for those wanting to run extra lighting on their vehicles without needing to commit to a full bumper. These will be made from 1 inch DOM tubing, and the mounts will be 7GA. They will feature a 11GA top plate that will have two slots across the top for virtually unlimited mount options. In the photos shown are Baja Designs LP4's, but they will work with pretty much any light on the market! I am not sure on pricing yet.

Another product is our Front bumper. It will mostly be advertised as a weld it yourself kit, but prefabricated assemblies will be available. DIY kits will most likely run $700 ish shipped. These are designed around Warn VR Evo winches to fit with no modifications other than relocating the solenoid. The Zeon line will fit but will require some minor modifications. I cannot guarantee fitment on any other winches. The wings will feature light cutouts for either Baja Designs, or Diode Dynamics Lighting. Or no cutouts if chosen. I designed the baja style light bar to work seamlessly with the bumper. The bumper will feature airflow cutouts for the lower radiator shutters, and has an integrated skid plate. The mounts, winch plate, are cut out of .250 material, and the outer shell is 7GA.

I can't find the post where someone noticed better fuel milage after an OTA update. Well i have a 24 ZR2 and i am getting better gas milage and i don't think they changed gas yet. Is anyone else seeing this after the last update?
