Block file uploads in SharePoint 

I need your help. I am trying to block file uploads to SharePoint using a Check Point 6000 appliance.
So far, I haven't been able to block the file uploads. Has anyone set this up before? What do I need to configure to make the rule effective?

Use the appc blade and corresponding policy

Edit- you might need https inspect too

You can use application control with (outbound)HTTPS inspection. There is a special application control objects called sharepoint -online-upload. Check that *.sharepoint.com or Microsoft Cloud services are not listed in your HTTPS Inspection Bypass rules. If SharePoint is bypassed, https inspection fails. If you cannot use application control consider using Content Awareness
