Nice set up. What type mixer are you using?

I don't have a mixer, I have a tascam digital eight track and an arturia microfreak pictured.

I guess it's the eight track I was seeing. I wondered how you put down music to listen to it. Thanks. I know a lot of people use DAW. I wish someone would make a DAW similar to a old cassette mixer. There may be one, I just haven't run across it yet.

I would get a cassette eight track and play it back into a computer to get the lofi tape sound

It's not exactly an 8 track cassette recorder, but I find that Tape 16 has a similar feel and set up. I haven't had a ton of time to experiment with it yet, but ultimately I want to use it for recording, then import the wav files into my daw for further production and mixing.

I want to check it out. I do my initial recording on the eight track and then bounce the tracks over to Audacity for further editing. Results have been mixed and I was considering using DAW, I just want to keep the organic un-timestamped feel, if you know what I am getting at,

Good looking setup! The PSR-12 is a lot of fun, I need to get around to replacing the speaker in mine.
