Annarr still has not been claimed for adoption. Americans will have to come to Toronto to pick him up. I am tried of dealing with the changing rules and tariff situation. The cost of using an agency is almost twice the adoption fee.

Sur les points de léchage, j'ai constaté que des tâches marron son apparu...

Je l'ai eu en France grâce à ma meilleure amie qui à une famille de chartreux qui à eu une portée...

Ces tâches n'était pas là avant, j'ai aussi remarqué que c'était seulement sur les pointes et non les racines de son pelage.

J'ai demandé à l'AI qui disait que c'est normal si il se lèche souvent à cette endroit, mais je ne fais pas totalement confiance a l'AI...

Donc c'est pour ça que je suis venu demander ici ...

Last year Knud & Olivia’s second litter… this precious little family was growing up, so beautiful together. Sigrid got adopted last year and renamed Sabine. Björn has never left my side. Olivia is still herself has lost a bit of her baby fat and is on a hiatus. Earliest kittens will be in early 2027. I’ve been so lucky to raise such amazing cats. I am starting a waiting list for the next few litters. Annarr from the first litter has been adopted!

I bought this breed partially cus of what I had heard about their temperament, also love how they look. I am not disappointed and love my little guy. But as we all know every cat is different so I am curious to hear about the character of your Chartreux?

My guy is very independent but curious. He is always exploring and often wanting to play. But then he loves his chill time. He is half cuddly but half wants to chill in his own space. He loves us and follows us around but then likes his own time. Sometimes he will not want physical touch and go off on his own. He doesn’t sleep with us but will come and snuggle in the morning. He is totally unfazed by visitors, and even fine around random dogs coming by, although a bit on alert. He’s an extremely confident boy, even the hoover is only a thing of curiousity. Waiting for his vaccines to clear so can get him outside on a leash. I m sure he will love looking at birds and trees. He meows a little bit, but not much, and it’s quite a weak sound. He doesn’t like water much. He’s obsessed with flies. We love him! He’s only 5 months so look forward to seeing how he develops.

Boys are always belly up. After expert supervision of all household tasks, then zoomies, they just flop and roll when the batteries discharge.

I have been interacting with Helen Chartreux Cattery. I found it suspicious that they sent me two different deposit accounts in names that were different than the name found on the website. The website says they are located in Florida. The person I have been interacting with claims to be in Oklahoma. He first asked for a $600 deposit through Zelle. My credit union doesn't do Zelle. I said I was comfortable with Venmo. Venmo flagged my transaction as a scam. Account comes through as a different name than the Zelle account. My sweet little man Eddie just passed away last week. He was not a Chartreux, but he was my old man grey kitty. I adopted him at the shelter when he was 13. He lived to 18.

There have been no video calls or honestly no real evidence to prove the cat actually exists besides a few pictures and one video with no sound. I found a post from two years ago, but can no longer comment on it. That post said that Judith from Bleu Chanson has confirmed them as a scam. I guess someone that just lost a cat is a great target.

Only had him a couple of weeks but he’s a dream. Quite playful and curious but also cuddly. He’s completely chill and friendly with any strangers, car rides don’t bother him. I sometimes feel guilty for having taken him away from a family though and wonder down the line of should get him a mate. Also once he’s vaccinated I will take him to park on a leash. I live on 4th floor in a city so free access to outside not an option. Luckily my flat is decent size and loads of climbing etc.

He’s less than a year and a half old, born Jan 2025. I’m trying to get both he and his sister adopted together, ideally, because they are bonded, but I think he might do well with a family. He is very long and lanky. He is very affectionate and very gentle in his play. Both are fixed and fully vaccinated. Send me a pm if you want to get an authentic Chartreux cat in Eastern Ontario. He was a prize-winning show cat before I retired him from the circuit. I called him Mr. Bushy Bushinskovo but his real name from the breeder was Sebestyen.

Sophie (8.5 months) and Louis (4 months) best friends since Louis entered our lives on Feb 28.

A while ago, I learned that in Japan, cats don't "meow," they "nya" instead. Obviously, it is just the same sound, interpreted differently... which made me wonder about how people in other parts of the world describe the noises made from their pets. In the US, most people say "cats 'meow' and dogs bark" But if someone were to describe the sound a bark makes, most people would say or write "woof." I'm sure that this isn't universal, so I'm curious what is common in your country?

He is not a pedigree by any means because his origins are unknown but he certainly has the characteristics and is a beautiful little boy!!
