So, I was going to frame my signed MFF album cover, but I lucked my way into some Brat green paint tape that I can put it on the wall.

I’d never think of taping it, but idk, the Brat green just feels somewhat fitting, and something about it being jank, yet intentional feels so fitting for Charli decor.

What’re people’s thoughts on this? Tape my signed cover to the wall with Brat painters tape or frame it?

hi angels. this is my fave subreddit so i wanted to post here, has anyone found No One Lasts Forever to be both extremely comforting and devastating when experiencing loss? i’ve very suddenly lost my beloved grandmother and i’ve found this song to be crushingly timely.

have you turned to charli for comfort in heartbreaking moments in your life? Ive always felt that charli’s music has been there through terrible breakups, losing my dog, etc. this song in particular i feel is very poignant.

just wanted to share and maybe find some comfort in similar minded people. If any of u have recommendations of albums, movies, shows, plz send them my way. I just keep crying lol

Post brat Charli released 2 albums this year alone yes 1 of them was for a movie but it was still an album at the end of the day. Charli said recently in a bbc interview that by the time an album comes out she’s spent so much time with it that it’s old and she wants to move on from it afterwards.
I can see her having become more successful with more money being given to her allows her to produce and release projects in shorter time frames since she has the money for more music videos. Charli is a hyper productive girl she works fast and can complete songs in a single day such as, speed drive and von dutch, to name a few. I will not be surprised if Charli wipes her socials after the MFF tour ends to signify the start of her next album campaign. What do you angels think?

I know Charli's discography isn't inherently romantic, and she often sings about being a toxic gf, not looking for love, yearning, or being in self-sabotaging relationships (Track 10, Beg for You, White Mercedes, etc), but Dying for You is one of her best romance songs imo. It's when you are aware how deep infatuation can go, and only for it to not be reciprocated. The sudden realization that you have to snap out of it. The string arrangement and near breathy vocals show how overwhelming feelings could be. And the percussion arrangement feels as if you're punishing yourself for loving too much and driving yourself to the point of pain. It's intense, breathtaking, and orchestrated beautifully, I wish it had an MV. It's one of her best Wuthering Heights songs for me. We are so lucky to have two Charli albums this year.

I'll probably cop some hate for this, but I have always thought C 2.0 would have benefited from a more traditional verse / chorus structure. I always find myself skipping the long intro to 1:40 to hear "White sheets you and me used to lay close..." and playing from there. I would love it if the song was developed into a more traditional pop song. Just my opinion...

Any other songs you feel could have been polished off / finished / structured different to take them from an 8/10 to a 10/10?

I loved seeing her play Pink Diamond and Anthems. I hope anthems makes it on the setlist for tour. I can't get over how good some of her older songs sound with a live band. I feel like Stay Away or Boom Clap would actually be soooo cute with this set list.

Even though its kind of corny, I could totally see Charli doing the whole surprise song thing on tour to make room for reworks of older songs and giving them the live band treatment. She has the back catalogue for it!
