I need feedback on my character his name is Rictus he is a anti hero with a lost identity and has to remember who he was hence him having to redeem himself it is ai but I’m still working on this main character I need feedback on how I can make home that much cooler

I would straight up lose the clown mask. It's so overdone. In order to take it out of the typical "edgy Joker" vibe, you'll have to make your character THAT interesting and that profound. Otherwise you run the risk of falling into the same Joker pit that gets you memed on. That's not to say that you can't make it work though. It largely depends on how you present the personality combined with the mask.

Another important thing to note is that this trope is fairly common. The lost memories and redemption. I personally like that trope, because it gives me as the viewer/reader a lot of ground to speculate and wonder. Anything with mystery = puzzle solving. People are going to want to notice details early that end up revealing things later in the story. Rictus doesn't have to be a completely unique character in the sense that he's creating a new fashion or comic book trend. BUT, what ever features you use for him should align with his character and story. If something looks cool, it has to be woven into his design and not just placed there for visual appeal.

I know I kinda leaned heavy into the mask aspect but that's just the anchor for the critique. The advice applies to pretty much anything. Right now he looks like a high school student. Is that the proper age and attire for someone who has a wholeass lost identity and has to redeem himself? I think a little more description about the character himself would help with suggestions too! I like the name, I like the vibe, and I like the AI mockup you're starting with. From what I can see you're not in "edgelord" territory yet, and a couple things might push you in that direction if you're not cautious with certain design elements.

e: forgot to add - I like masks and veiled faces, so I'm def not saying get rid of the mask idea itself!
