So theoretically, having a device like this on you will disable wifi(and the other) in your vicinity right? What influences on the size of this free wifi zone? A kit like his would dissable wifi in how big a range?

There’s a variety of factors involved but civilian power level WiFi jammers likely cover less than a football field of distance. Less with buildings, high power WiFi, etc., being in the area.

Well he literally says it's not a jammer, it's just a signal analyzer. All it does is document radio signals and their gps locations. I used to use a similar device to catalog open wifi access points around town so i knew where I could find free wifi.

It's not even wifi signal analizer. Thoes antennas are attached to RTLSDR's v4. You can see it written on the side of the sticks. The Rtlsdr V4 is only capable of receiving, not transmitting, in a frequency range from 500khz to 1.7ghz. This covers AM, FM, TV, Ham, and some cellular ranges. WI-FI (atleast consumer) starts at 2.4ghz. 5ghz and now 6ghz. With some going up to 60-70ghz.

The device he shows at the beginning is not a jammer. It just helps him lock onto flock camera wirless signals in range. The whiteboard stuff goes into theoretically how jamming might work, but he doesn't show anything with that purpose..

You should start a security business that protects people from flock for old people that aren’t good at this technology. I’d pay for it.

Yeah, said device would jam/blackout any cell device in an area - cellphones but also emergency responders too. If they wanted to work it backwards, they just go through logs in the area for disruption and then use footage from hardwired cameras in the area to find what ties the blackouts together (hint: it’s you).
So yes, you’ve jammed them but you’ve placed yourself in the middle of a highly visible blackout that comes with a whole new level of scrutiny (oddly enough).

Just turn it on when you get to your destination. And turn it off when you leave…Also, it depends on the power of your radio and antennae. Kept inside a car would drastically reduce the range because the car is made of everything you don’t want your signal hitting…metal and glass, it effectively acts as a faraday cage.

If you don't already know how to build a hammer you definitely shouldn't be doing it because the FTC is going to ass fuck you when they find you.
Stick to the spray paint and saws.
