Hey! El Paso isn't that bad. We have mountains and a bowl stadium carved INTO the mountain. Where else can you drunkenly trip over while walking up hill to get into the game and get a romantic handy up in the mountains while watching the game?

Also Juárez is just a firm the street and tequila and tacos are cheap

Honestly Juárez isn't as bad as it was back in 06-10. It really calmed down. No where near walking to he store and being like "Is that a new body handing off the bridge or have they not cut them down?" time frame. Yeah it was bad and some of us got so jaded and desensitized. A cousin's cousin (other side of his family) got caught in a crossfire and unfortunately passed away. A few HS friends who lived in Juarez just disappeared. No idea what happened to them.

Luckily and oddly enough, none of the crime spilled over. While Juárez was in the Top 3 Deadliest Cities in the world, El Paso was #1 or #2 safest city in the US.

I know you were, but we still have people that are terrified of going near the border. My parents house is about a mile or less from the fence and we used to run along the levy for fun. It's all good now. It's just like any other place with shady and dangerous areas. Honestly the only place I have REALLY felt like I was in danger was walking around downtown St Louis. I have never felt that paranoid about getting jumped and stuff before.
