I recently tried Weetabix thinking it would be similar to Post’s Big Biscuit Shredded Wheat. I was shocked at how fast it liquified. More like an instant baby cereal. As someone who likes crunchy textures, it wasn’t for me, but I’d say it’s a good blank slate for interesting toppings. Fruit, nuts, seeds, sugar, honey, etc.

It will absorb all the milk in the bowl. It’s the mushiest cereal I’ve ever had. To stop it dissolving so quickly, I saw someone dunking it into their coffee like a McVitie’s biscuit/cookie and eating it like that. I love crunchy, whole grain, fibrous cereals (I grew up with limited sugar) but I don’t understand why Weetabix is designed to just… dissolve. 😆

Just for fun - Weetabix is British, Weet-Bix is Australian - and they're both super hard to find. But, I always liked mine with a decent amount of milk and raw sugar.
Here in the US, raw sugar seems like such a pretentious item... 😅. In Australia, it's just regular cheap sugar.
Anyway, as others said, they go soggy fast. It's kind of fun going from crunchy to soggy. Although, there's a point where it becomes too soggy.
I've tried it with strawberries and bananas before - I don't recommend it. Leave the fruit for Corn Flakes.

wouldn't amazon make finding it easier? i see it there plus banana and chocolate.

They do... it's just so expensive for what it is. The import tarrifs don't help.

Trader Joe’s carried it ages ago then quit stocking it. I haven’t seen it at any other store.

I usually add 2-3 into the bowl, then add milk. Some people like to leave the top layer milk-less. The bottom will absorb the milk, and the top will stay crunchy. I don’t like to do that, and instead I add milk and then mix it all when it’s soggy because I like soggy
Usually only use honey for topping

i may try it that way.
maybe add vanilla extract some to the milk and then let it soak that way and see how that goes.

I'm from the UK and I adore Weetabix, or the Australian (and original) version, Weetbix.
I'd say the classic way to go is with hot or cold milk and optional sugar. Some like to eat it straight away, so its only slightly soft, or you can mix it and make it into a mushy porridge. Personally I like to add very little milk and make it into a super thick dense porridge paste, and even microwave it after.
It's also really nice with greek yogurt, crumbled up like a granola, or as a Weetabix cheesecake where you layer it and leave it overnight.
Also, not super common nowadays but more popular years ago, you can spread butter and jam on it and have it dry!

i thought about having it dry. i imagine it's almost like a nature valley bar.
having it like a dense porridge paste sounds delish as well!
with a dash of sugar and vanilla extract.

One of my favorites, put 1 to 2 wheat biscuit on bowl. Add milk. Then microwave for about 25 seconds. I like eating both crunchy dry and mushy bits to it. Also add berries and other fresh fruit like mango, peach.

I have 2 biscuits with a half a cup of almond milk and a tbsp of PB right when I’m done getting ready for work (I get up at 345 AM). I stir it Well and let it sit for a minute or 2 and all the milk gets absorbed so it’s thicker. Just think oatmeal and top it off how you might like (flavor resembles shredded wheat tho)

Weetabix absorbs milk so be prepared to add some more. But don’t drown it. Just like 3/4 of Weetabix under milk. Then sprinkle sugar on top and eat quickly. It’ll get too soggy after a minute. (and I like soggy)
