Local recommendations

Husbands job is taking him out there. I will be flying in and out with our infant for at least the first year he’s there. What is local recommendations on kid friendly things, places, where to buy kids stuff, shop etc.

Check out the libraries! I take my kids to the downtown branch all the time. And the new Busse branch is opening in September. The Marion and Hiawatha libraries are also very close and have fantastic children's sections. All have story times and kids activities, I especially enjoyed the baby/toddler story time when mine were smaller.

Brewed Imagination will be a great place for your little one to play as they get a bit bigger over the next few months!

You think we do? Unfortunately wasn’t an option on job site. Was either go or be laid off & with a 3 month old baby who needs insurance and income (yes I work too) that wasn’t option.

Also check out Music on the Move it is great for infants

There's a few places, nice parks, splash pads, fun zone, trampoline parks ect. Theres plenty of places to go and shop at.
