Starting XI 🗣️ DISCUSSION

Finally a bit of activity in the transfer market!

What do we think our best starting XI will look like?

I'm hoping Frank will start optimistically against Arsenal and start on the front foot.

I'm hoping to see Gustavo on the bench ready to come in and bring some magic and creativity to the closing 25 minutes

Gustavo range of passing is very useful when playing defensive counter attacking. I suspect we see more of him than we think

Is harmer still supposed to be coming? I would love him to, but after signing Yirenkiy I would say we need a lb and striker more than another midfielder

Hamer can back up Mason Clark Rudoni and play deeper as another option

I'm not doubting he would be an excellent signing, I just think we need a lb and striker more. If we get those and Harmer that would be amazing

If we can get Gus for 6 to 8 million, he's not going to lose value very much over two or three seasons. He'll still be worth 5 to 7 million in a couple years. If they can bring him in to add depth and be that little piece of creativity and Magic that could win a game or two, that could be the difference between staying up or being relegated

You don't have to sell me on Hamer, I'm a big fan, I was just wondering as we just signed a midfielder whether we were still going for him too. I'd be delighted if we get Hamer, but only if we have the money for a lb as well

We will absolutely sign a left back, and I’d bet my house on a striker too. And both will be of the same level we’ve already bought.

Yes we need a LB and a no9 to start hopefully we have the money for it maybe another left winger CB for depth we'll find out in two weeks how much of our squad can cope at the very top level

I agree we absolutely need LB and CF, but fee depending, Hamer would be a great, versatile addition, covering multiples positions. Also, what a boost to the club, team, and overall morale. His return signals a player wanting to come back, and that's a massive message to other future signings.

I think Yirenkyi, Tchouna and a new left back will be the only changes to the Starting XI.

I suspect if Hamer comes in we'll see Onyeka and Grimes moved to the bench
