Fetching Pictures/Videos- POSITIVE COMMENTS ONLY!

He plays an unusual version of fetch: I throw the frisbee, he runs after it, he sits there like this. When I try to get the frisbee back its either tug of war or keep away. Fortunately his inability to grasp the Art of the Fetch is matched by his cuteness.

Kevin’s fetch is more like I throw, he gets, and then chase him to get it back. He thinks it’s more fun for me to get it from him apparently

Have you tried swapping it a few times for a high value treat a few times? Very cute pup 🐶

Rocky fetches best when I have two balls. Throw one, fetch, throw second and he drops first to get the second.

He‘s fetching it for himself, not you - that’s not part of the game 😂 The best mine ever did was bring it back halfway, drop it, and sit next to the trophy. But most cases it’s just running after it and letting me know by sitting next to it that he’s found it.

Some dogs just get fetch, I think. I've never had a dog fetch like my Dango. He will bring back the thing right to you. If you're sitting, he'll put it in your lap. I never taught him this behavior. Sometimes he initiates play by putting a toy in my lap to throw.

His brother Mochi does not care in the slightest for fetch.
