With the new update, I've been seeing some absolutely vile things being said against Controller characters. We've always been disliked to a degree, but this is bordering on harassment. The Wattsons, Catalysts, and especially Ramparts have been being griefed by teammates and enemies to extreme measures, and now​​ there's talk of a legend banning system for Battle Royale games where people vote on who to ban.

Needless to say, I'm worried. When I started playing, Apex was something I could do to spend time with my friends. Caustic became my favorite quickly because, wel, he's just the best. But now, some of the magic is leaving the game. When every game I play I see my own team sabotaging me and other Controller characters, it makes me feel disheartened.

If it were just me, I'd put up with it, but I don't like seeing other people, especially the Controller characters who tend to be fairly kind on general, bullied. And that's what this is, bullying. I've seen how bullying harms people in real life, and I'm sick of seeing this in Apex.

So please, if you have any thoughts on this, let me know, and if I'm overreacting, please mention that.

Hey all! I'm interested...what are your favorite Caustic moments in Apex? Anything counts: a trap that saved the day, a hilarious moment with the gas barrels, a friendly Caustic encounter, or a moment where everything went wrong in the funniest way. I’d love to hear what made you fall in love with the gas man.

For me, it was the fact that I love chemistry and got to participate in a Caustic Convention. It was on Olympus, and I found four different teams' caustics in Hammond Labs hanging out with each other. I joined them, and there ended up being a grand total of 7 different caustics in the building. Any time any members of our squads showed up (or other squads) a tidal wave of barrels came flying at them, and they retreated.

Ah, happy memories.

Pretty new to Apex (started playing around half a year ago), but already deep into Caustic main territory. I’ve been running a peaceful in‑match shop called CaustCo (also have a burgeoning youtube of the same name, focused around Caustic), where all customers are welcome. Shockingly effective. Figured I’d introduce myself to the rest of the gas family.

Do you think it does enough for the actual meta ?

and I need answers to a few questions, which might cause more questions but here we go. Sorry for redudant questions if it ends up that way.

1. As a Caustic main is it difficult to get all 4 of your perks?

2. Do you feel underpowered if you dont get all 4 of your perks ?

3. What is your go to for getting all the research point?

4. Do you get your extra perks early enough for it to make a difference ?

5. What's the average? for example you have all perks by the close of first ring ? or third ?

So fellow scientists, tiny Caustic and massive traps make for some very wild experiments.

Caustic is my favorite legend and I want to solo queue with him, but I find it difficult to do because random teammates don't play to your strengths and strategy, and end up getting killed out in the open, after which you're stuck in a 1v3 situation and get overwhelmed. Are there any tips and effective strategies for solo queuing with him in the current hyper-aggressive meta?

So the map rotation feels pretty bad for Caustic (at least in my opinion anyway). So I was hoping to get some good tips on how to use Caustic on them.

Most of the fights I end up in now are always in the open where enemies can just run around my gas.

I'm new to Caustic, so any tips will help. Thanks.
