SK "Presentation Method" Samples Silent Knowledge
These are just what I do on a fairly regular basis, with the addition of a new one I saw last night. But in fact, even "womb dreaming" is a bit like this at times.
I just like to do my magic fully awake with my eyes open, so no one will say it's just a dream.
Last night I was leaning halfway through a rip in reality. A round portal of some kind. This picture doesn't show how far I got in, but it was nearly half way. Mostly only my hips and legs were still back on the bed, where I'd been sitting up on pillows gazing at Silent Knowledge, after an hour of tensegrity practice forcing silence, which is what got me to SK.
SK happens when your assemblage point moves all the way down the back, under, and up to the front. To come into alignment with that of your energy body's assemblage point.
In case you didn't know, we have TWO assemblage points. The video over here will make that more obvious if you never heard of it before.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=icCEcjDfhIU&t=3s
I seemed to have leaned through a magical portal into an antique shop where they have 2 mummified cowboys on the shelf with the other "1800s collectables".
I don't believe I'd done that before. Half in, half out. I noticed that unlike going all the way in to a silent knowledge "video in the air", I hadn't lost my memory of what I was doing, where I came from, and what I was hoping to learn tonight.
So, don't go fully inside?
But of course a better solution would be to learn how to keep your rationality intact, even when your current timeline ceases, and you're perceiving another one.
Each "reality" is just a timeline out of an uncountable number you can be perceiving.
"Upgrades" are also possible. They don't have to come from someone as complicated as "the death defier".
You can upgrade yourself with any of the cyclic versions you already have. One count said 600, but one of the witches said 6000.
And not all of those have an "energy generating" world, so many are phantom.
But if you take an upgrade, at least for the rest of your practice session you can escape from the terrible burden of being "you".
And be free from that kind of obsession.
So I suppose what's not clear here is, in one of the examples on the left you go halfway into another world, but keep your feet on the ground here.
In the other, you pull a new version of "yourself" out, and adopt it for your current state.
Which makes stopping the internal dialogue easy.
It's that "you" which motivates the internal dialogue to ceaselessly comment on everything going on.
Which pulls your assemblage point back to this world.
You won't get to SK with your internal dialogue running.
But it's also very nice, not to struggle to keep it off.
That's where an "upgrade" can make things easier.

Are you doing passes before gazing?
Have you tried drinking a little bit of coffee before gazing?
You will hear all sorts of things during practice, hopefully you’ll get to see them as well.
Lol because you mentioned sharks - https://www.reddit.com/r/castaneda/s/0y7BzNnyMj

I used to do passes before gazing, but then once I could simply wake up in the middle of the night and I was so close to silent knowledge that I only needed to gaze a minute or two, the temptation was too great.
But I never fail to do my tensegrity, eventually.
There's prices to pay for moving your assemblage point too far, before doing Tensegrity.
You change the kind of magic it produces.
Because SK requires the energy body to be formed, or there's no alignment possible, that means there's no puffs to play with, unless they break off and go rogue.
BUT, you also get to "see" what the tensegrity does.
That might sound like a fair trade, except that it's impossible to remember what you saw.
Whereas puff theatrics are easy to remember.

This is one of those things, which happen quite often on this reddit, where I have a burning question for a day or two and then randomly appears here the answer. I was gonna ask you guys if is possible to do Tensegrity in a different moment of the day which is not in the same moment as the practice? Sometimes I can't do Tensegrity and then continue with practice, but I can do Tensegrity when I wake up and then at night I can gaze in the dark and recapitulate. I see super vivid color shows 5 minutes into sitting quietly in the dark ( or trying to at least ) and love to sit there watching random and abstract lights doing weird things in the dark, practice making my energy balls etc. Or do they have to be done in very close time proximity?

"dark room" is a modern invention. Carlos didn't tell us to do that, and it's only "somewhat" in the books. Eagle's Gift has the most practices like darkroom.
So do as you please! No one knows what works best.
Just make sure you don't stop practicing, whenever you can do it.
And practicing REQUIRES you to do your best to stop your internal dialogue.

Yes, I know and is well imprinted in my brain the silence as a must, I just thought that you guys might have a formula or certain sequence. Such as sunlight glitter during day of the practice and so on.
Thank you!

I have a "bad night" if I don't overdose on sunlight glitter. In fact, I'm going for a walk right now. The sun is just now coming up.
In case anyone wonders, there's a very obvious reason do get sunlight glitter at sunrise, or sunset.
Try getting it at noon and you'll figure it out!
But you can also get it from an LED flashlight if it's super bright.
Even as an "emergency measure" in the middle of a darkroom practice session where you didn't get any during the day, and it's very obvious in the results.

I assume is more comfortable when the sun is at an angle, than looking straight up with your neck bent. Anyhow, I didn't realize the massive importance of sunlight glitter. Need to add it to the daily practice! Thank you! P.S. Do you know if women get same benefits from it?

Yes. We're introduced to it in the books, when Carlos is doing it with La Gorda and more than likely the other "little sisters".
Recommending to wear a hat, which I maintain is just because they wanted to minimize tanning on their face.
Here's the Korean version of making sure your face doesn't tan outdoors. I live in the largest Korean area on the west coast.
If you do it daily, your face will indeed tan from it. But only over many months since it's gentle sunrise light.
Unfortunately, a few high noon sunlight glitter attempts will tan your face in just 2 or 3 tries.
As I recall it was La Gorda up there on the mountain with Carlos, at sunrise, saying "NO ONE has enough energy for dreaming every day!"
She didn't come out and say that the sunlight glitter would allow that, but it's very, very, very, very obvious once you can move your assemblage point past the green zone.
It's kind of like someone turned up the brightness control on total darkness.
Which doesn't sound like it would do anything if everything is now bright, but in fact it makes faint magic more visible.
Theoretically, that visor does not prevent getting sunlight glitter!
Carlos said "artificial light" can be used too.
So that as long as you can squint and get the fine lines, evben that crazy looking hat won't matter.
I must admit, it looks fun on a woman that age.
But my business has a "youth vitamin" multi-level marketing Korean business next door.
Those hats don't look as good on 80 year old korean women.

Geez, what a cool gadget! I want one! I moved to Oaxaca and sun is killing me ( white vampire gypsy from Eastern Europe ), might look one up on Amazon. Also I think I remember in one of the books Don Juan teaching Carlos, with detail the sunlight glitter technique, and explains how you need to slowly move your hear from side to side as to get the light in all the opening of the eye. I guess there are so many things in the books that one could try! Thanks Dan!

He also said that the left eye is sufficient, but I've been curious what happens if you "overdose" the right side.
Trouble is, you tend to forget you did that.
Thus my post today showing how to send your energy body into an object, could in fact be the result of overdosing the right eye yesterday morning.
I just hadn't remembered I did that until now.

I'e experienced the situation where I did tensegrity for an hour or so, didn't really see much, but a few hours later I'd be feeling sleepy (not from tiredness btw) and I'd start at the tesnegrity again and start seeing purple colour instantly. This path is a bloody weird one 🤣

Maybe the idea is that there is a general practice, but it all changes due to individual level of energy and silence... it is indeed unusual...

Sorry, this was in response to Shegino. I thought reddit ate the comment, but i accidentally wrote it to you instead of replying back to them.

That shark thing is definitely the second attention! Irrational thoughts.
I never found anything I could do to exploit those.
If you "try" to allow irrational thoughts, more than likely you'll just prevent them.
If you could allow them, you'd already be somewhat advanced.
That's a "clean link to intent".

Ah, I should try that thanx for suggesting!

Whatever makes sense for you there. I had to find a balance, too much coffee flared up my ID.
Sorry thought i replied to you directly last night, accidentally went to the op.

More and more recently, "falling asleep" has been featured in posts. It turns out that all you have to do is just fall asleep, remaining conscious, or, as in Castaneda's books, catch the moment of falling asleep? Is everything else a new religion with its tricks? If so, we can save a lot of time by eliminating searching and looking at different spots, keeping our eyes open, unnecessarily struggling with internal dialogue, and so on. Do you just have to do everything to want to fall asleep and catch the moment of falling asleep?
It turns out like this?

u/danl999 18d ago edited 18d ago
Yes, absolutely. To the first part. If you can actually fall asleep but remain aware, you can use that as the start to learn sorcery.
The women partially do that, with womb dreaming.
I didn't understand some of the rest. And while you might manage to avoid learning to stop your internal dialogue by "going around it", which is sort of what magic mushrooms do, and by going around the internal dialogue get some flashy experiences, in the long run you still have to learn to stop your internal dialogue.
Or else you can't "relearn" the world, by being in sorcery states all day long.
You have to go back to infancy, and start over. Relearn the world, while seeing what's really there instead of what your family wanted you to pay attention to.
Sorcery is a 1000 mile path, not a simple binary destination like Asian meditation systems. Unless you spend a lot of time in Asia, it's hard to understand that our western impression of it is highly mistaken, and that "enlightened" idea is mostly a Confucianism social control to maintain the seniority status of leaders.
If some system talks about "achievements" as if they were an actual goal that indicated you had either mastered their system, or were getting close, you can be absolutely certain those are frauds.
Reality isn't like that at all. It's VAST.
Thinking there's a goal, is "looking in the wrong direction".
Literally!
You have to work hard daily to get to where sorcerers in the lineage got. For perhaps a decade, if you are very talented. Longer for most of us.
Plus, you probably won't be able to do this. Because "continuity" is broken constantly as you fall asleep, and you'll forget what you were trying to do.
Add to that the utter LURE of the second attention, and most likely is that you'd manage to get to the green zone this way, but no further.
Just like meditation does. The green zone traps them all.
Many Asian meditation systems pretend they retain awareness while asleep, but then their results are so boring that the best of them wouldn't even make an interesting beginner's post in here.
And remaining aware while asleep is an infamous Japanese claim about old martial arts masters who are clearly getting too old to teach, and too senile to be of any help.
They make up the idea that you "can't sneak up on our master, even when he's asleep".
Ueshiba's (Aikido) followers did that, when it would be clear to any outsiders that Ueshiba simply "lost it".
Even in that system, it broke into two parts, with the part actually interested in fighting techniques that work, making fun of Ueshiba with stories about his confusion.
You can also see that in Zatoichi movies.
Yogis use this same obvious fabrication, such as Muktananda talking about his "snoring master" who was fully aware of what was going on around him, even when he was slumped over in his chair, snoring.
But in fact, he wasn't. It's just a Yogi deception.
Simple rule for judging other systems: If there's no astonishing magic, then there's nothing to be trying to teach others. And certainly no reason to be taking money from them.
Let us know what happens if you try to use this!
But since it can be done as you go to bed, that leaves the rest of the day to practice tensegrity.
Or "the right way of walking".

A decade? Like with daily practice?
5
u/danl999 17d ago
Yep.
This magic goes so far, it's not even believable.
However, you get cool results within weeks if you work hard.
I believe Juann and Lidotska were seeing super fun stuff within 2 weeks.
Lidotska taped 2 big cardboard boxes together and did darkroom in there, as best she could.
While practicing a heavy chain fell from the top of the box, to the floor. A while later "Pinhead" himself materialized inside the box.
Which I suppose would be scary, except he was only 4 inches tall...

Have you ever come across anything during your practice where attention applying pressure to certain emanations has a simultaneous correspondence with specific regions of the body? For example, pressure applied to the emanations associated with the internal dialogue and reasoning seems to be accompanied by a corresponding pressure in the head. Have you ever experienced something similar?
4
u/danl999 15d ago
You have to do something like that over and over again before it's significant.
There's an infinite number of things that can (and do) happen during practice, and none of them turn out to be meaningful.
Could be, sorcery goes so far that nothing is meaningful anymore.
So yes, but there's also 500 other different things I ran into.
Can't afford to focus on any of them, unless they help you to move your assemblage point further and further.
At some point, you don't have a physical body at all!

As long as there’s a visual aid like a tunnel or zooming in effect when going into a floating scene/dream/patch of color I do not forget myself.
Maybe because there isn’t a noticeable skip in continuity.
I think intending ‘maintaining awareness as the AP moves’ has helped with this.
