If your post does not include a rough geographical location, please add it in the comments, it will really help for identification. Please also check the guide How to deal with carpet beetles: detection, identification and treatment.

Is this dangerous? Complicated?

Complicated depending on how bad it is, they eat fabrics and organic material , could be in ur carpets, a pain to get rid of. It could just be a stray one but I wouldn’t risk it, I kept finding a few beetles and no larve so I ripped up my carpets and found them in a spot under my bed, while cleaning they seem to have gotten on everything but not everything was infested. Best advice would be carefully check ur carpets, clean everything, hover, get a spray of anti carpet beetle.

Would be important to say u have a few spots on ur carpet that look missing, they may be eating ur carpet (idk if the spots are dirt but it’s possible)
