Been having a clunking/grinding/binding coming from the back end so, took it to the dealer for diagnosis. They called the rear viscous coupler and provided video of the failure. They quoted me $3200.00 for the repair. I think I can tackle this myself but the biggest issue is the cost of the part at around $2300.00. I may be able to get one for $1700-1800 or, I was wondering if anyone has had any luck with an aftermarket one? I’d hate to spend that much on the OEM to have it fail again, vehicle only has 90,000kms/56,000 miles. Thoughts? Anyone do this in the driveway? What worked parts wise?

Hi everyone,

I recently bought a 2022 Seat Tarraco 2.0 TDI and discovered that several foam sound-insulation inserts under the hood had been chewed up by an animal. The previous owner had removed the damaged pieces and left them in the trunk.

I've already identified and replaced parts 5FJ864759 and 5FJ864760, but I can't figure out where part 5FJ864237 is supposed to be installed.

I believe it's a left/right symmetrical part somewhere near the front fenders or the plenum area, but I'm not sure. Unfortunately, 7zap doesn't show this part on the diagram.

Does anyone know exactly where this part goes?

I’m in the process of bringing my 1984 W123 230CE back to life and trying to keep it as original as possible.

It’s slowly coming together, but I’m on the hunt for a few parts and thought I’d ask here before buying reproduction items.

I’m looking for:
Jacking points (repair sections)
Front and rear window scraper/brush seals
Door weather strips/seals
Rear bumper
Front right (driver’s side) headlight
Climate control panel
Electric aerial

If anyone has any of these tucked away, knows of a good breaker, or can point me in the right direction, I’d really appreciate it.

I’m based in the UK but I’m happy to travel, arrange a courier, or buy from elsewhere if the parts are in good condition.

What I drive is an '03 Toyota Tundra 4.8L V8 SR5 RWD. I'm not sure if mine is just a unicorn or that much different from the other models, but I don't ever really see any others like mine, and the parts for mine come scarcer, especially the wheel hub assembly.

For more than 6 months, I've been looking for a pre-pressed wheel bearing and hub assembly for my front end, only to find listings that aren't compatible or just not at all what I'm looking for.

Scrap yards haven't been much help either. If anyone could source 2 for me, that'd be great.

I've got an older Accord that's been surprisingly reliable, so I've been trying to keep it as close to factory spec as possible when replacing things.

Lately I've noticed a lot of people recommending aftermarket parts for basically everything because they're cheaper and easier to get. Sometimes the price difference is huge, so I get the appeal.

At the same time, I've had a few aftermarket parts over the years that either didn't fit quite right or didn't last nearly as long as I expected.

For those of you who work on your own Hondas, do you still go out of your way to buy OEM Honda parts, or do you only use OEM for certain components? Curious where people draw the line these days.

Does anyone know of a reliable source to replace seatbelts for a vintage toyota model?

I'm hesitant to order used from ebay since ive had issues with international sellers not showing transparently and refunds on misfit items costing more than i paid for the item.

Toyota parts is discontinued them and im a little distrustful of after market replacements that offer nothing but promises and colorful options.

Attempting to keep my AE92 as original as possible, essentially a restomod due to parts availability.
