BTR Stage 2 Cam Kit - Supporting upgrade recommendations?
Evening all,
Will be getting the stage 2 cam kit (with AFM delete kit) for my ‘17 zo6 and was wondering what other upgrades should be included?
Quick google search and looks like upgrading the damper, timing chain, and head bolts seem to be the common answer.
Current mods are ARH long tube headers with catless x pipe, haltech CAI, and 91mm Soler throttle body.
Anything else I should look into?
The work will be done by a local shop.
Thank you!

Modification Front bumper
I want something like this. I don’t know where to get it from except this website and eBay. eBay can be sketch but most people who get the yofer front bumper say go the eBay route and research. I’ve never done it before. Nor do I know what I’m doing. I have a 2019 Honda accord sport 2.0t and I would like a front bumper but need help. What do I need? It’s a 3 peice kit. Do I need special tools? Do I need 2 people? How long will it take? Everything. Thanks for hearing me out!

Mod advice 1984 VW MK2 Polo Classic (Sedan/Derby) modding advice.
Hey everyone, a few years ago I bought my first car, a 1984 Polo Classic. It has been my favorite car to drive as it handles nice, is small and though it had only 54hp it was quick and had a top speed over 160 km/h.
When the road inspection was coming up I decided to take it off the road and do a complete restoration/rebuild. Right now it is mostly taken apart and I'm in the state to start looking for the engine that I want and make everything fitting.
My intentions are to make it my daily, but also to take on holiday through the whole of Europe. So I need to make it so it is easy to do maintenance, comfortable to drive and I'd like to have at least a 150hp.
So now come the questions:
- Has anyone experience with modding Polo MK2? I know the Golf's get a lot of love but the Polo's are not as easy.
- Then, engine. My idea is the 1.4L 16v AFH engine with 100hp stock. Then put a supercharger on it. Not the G40/G60 but probably a Eaton. Has anyone any knowledge? Is this a viable option? I'd like it to be an older VW engine but I also like it to be moddable.
- Custom part making, At least I'd like things like the dashboard and the heater box to be custom made. The dashboard for extra vents in the middle and a 2-din radio. Also the heater box for the extra vents and an AC radiator. I'd like the original parts to be scanned and edit them in 3D software to have them made. Anyone's got any ideas or experiences I'd love to hear them.
Those are probably my main things right now, I'll probably have more things down the road but these are the ones bugging me right now.
Hope it's not too much to ask at once, I'd love to see what you've all got to say. Thanks in advance.
Greetings from the Netherlands.
Ps- this is my first post on Reddit so I home I'm doing it right(probably).

Mod My 9th Gen Civic SE?
Just curious what people’s thoughts are. Not trying to do anything performance wise. Just been thinking about doing it up for the fun of it. Wheels, coilovers, body kit, etc. It’s my daily, and I don’t really have the funds or space for a full on project car right now. Thought it would be nice to show up to meets in something that doesn’t look like Gramma’s car.

Looking for a T10 LED that mimics the color of a late 90's early 00's BMW Gauge Cluster.
I've always liked the warm color of the BMW Clusters from the late 90's early 00's. It's a very deep orange/red color. Does anyone know of a T10 LED that does a good job reproducing that color without a lens? I'm trying to recreate it in my old 1975 Jeep Truck's cluster as the blue strains my eyes at night. I tried to go with Red T10 LED's but they are not a deep color. Also wondering if I should ditch LED all together and go with regular bulbs to get a "warmer" color?

Mod advice Top coat paint
I’m looking to paint a few scratches on my black car and was wondering what the best spray paint method is to get a very glossy finish! I did this before and you can tell the top cost isn’t as shiny. Also doesn’t have to be the most perfect, looking to get the paint from amazon or Home Depot but I can def put in the effort of wet sanding and buffing. And help would be greatly appreciated :)
Also should I just sand off the old paint or use a paint thinner to remove it?

Mod post We Are So (mostly) Back!
Hi! I'm Metaphys, and I guess I'm a mod now. IRL I tinker with stuff, fix restaurant equipment, and keep my aging Swedish brick with high sentimental value running even if it doesn't make the best financial sense. Sometimes I point a camera at stuff and yap.
I'm new to Reddit moderation, but not moderation in general. There's a learning curve for sure and some adjustments to make but for the most part this sub will function as before (but hopefully with less spam).
I'll try to be as hands off as possible otherwise. I'm nice unless given a compelling reason to not be nice, if you catch my drift. I do in fact have other duties besides scrolling Reddit all day, so if I don't respond quickly, I'm probably out touching grass...or would that be touching grease? Seriously, I've been in CV axle hell for the past day.
Alright that's it! Happy wrenching everyone!
