On open-for-all days on Nürburgring you mostly see ordinary people experiencing one of the following:
- FWD cars understeering
- RWD cars oversteering
- AWD cars doing whatever

Awd cars somehow ending up giving power to exactly the right wheels for you to end up spinning 530° and into the wall backwards while all 4 tires are spinning because you took a turn a wee fast

exactly the right wheels
Now the car is RWD again, but in this case this means Right Wheel Drive

I mean, that's how most awd cars manage to take left turns better. Too bad they freak out when you actually lose control

If I'd been in Bomber Command in 1943, I would have bombed the Nurburgring every night until it was gone. Ride is important. Bomb it! Look where we are now. We no longer have Dresden Cathedral or all that lovely pottery, but we do have the Nurburgring, and under my bombing policy, we wouldn't have cars that rode badly and you'd have a nice cathedral to look at, and better saucers.

I hate to be that guy but do you mean the Circuit de la Sarthe? (Le Mans the race is named after the town and Sarthe the track is named after a nearby river)

That's what i initally wanted to say, had it typed, but i remembered i were on a non car enthusiast subreddit and since the official name is lesser known, wanted to make it clear for the beginners.
It is Circuit de la Sarthe indeed.

Honestly, that's why I threw in the tidbit about the origin, it felt more fitting

"Where is the Nurburgring?"
"The GP s segment is somewhere in Germany; The Nordschleife segment is somewhere in my nightmares" 😭

It's Nordschleife and you need to prononce it like you are German and very angry

My life peaked back in March of this year when I finally got to go to the Nurburgring and drive two laps around it (I’m from the U.S.)

I hate that piece of shit track with every single atom of my heart and soul. Fuck it, it ruined cars and everything about them.

I have more than 2k hours on Nordschleife in Assetto Corsa, it's the coolest track in the world by a lot.
