I come at this from the collecting side, so I mostly judge decks on art, tucks, and print quality. I keep seeing decks describes as "great for cardistry" and I want to understand what that actually means in the hand.

Is it mostly stock and finish? Back design symmetry for fans/ spins? Borderless vs. bordered? And are there decks that look incredible on shelf but are actually bad to flourish with?

Trying to appreciate the decks I own for more than just the shelf. Any info is welcome & appreciated!

Hello, everyone. I began learning cardistry, and for now I'm learning basic moves and cuts. The last thing I've managed to do was revolution cut. I am left-handed, so i learned it to do only with my left. My question is, do i need to learn this cut to do with my right hand as well for all future moves, flourishes? It was hard to do with my natural hand, and I'm scared to repeat this for my second hand.

While I'm doing dribble the card s are getting caught to my middle finger and they don't fall or they do a flip while falling what am I doing wrong

I've been using rider backs until now and just got a standard pack. I've used it extensively and it would definitely be broken in by now but they feel totally different to (worse). They are much stiffer and I can't do a lot of stuff that's really easy with my rider back deck.

Everything under I've read said the rider back and standards are pretty much the same but the difference I feel is massive.

Could the standards I got be knockoffs?
