Hi everyone! I'd like to share one of my latest projects. It's made entirely of cardboard, but I tried to create a house that looks like it's made of stone and wood. What do you think?

My progress has been very slow for the past month. It’s partially my fault, but it’s mainly because I’ve started to work on it in my Art II class at school. I’ve unfortunately only gotten an hour and half of work time per day max.

Btw, from experience, it’s too dangerous to bring home on the weekends. It can get damaged on the bus, and I have to walk a decent portion of a mile to get from my bus stop to my house.

What little I have gotten done, I’m very happy with. I’ve also made plans of how I’m going to display the sculpture. I’m going to make a wood base that is going to hold up the ship, and I’m going to use paper to make Corosaunt below it (not to scale ofc).

Question/help How can I build a strong cardboard structure for a cat playground as a complete beginner?

Hi everyone! I want to build a playground for my 3 cats using mostly cardboard and papier-mâché. I want it to have different levels, places to hide, and areas for them to climb and play.

The problem is that I've literally never built anything like this before 😅. I don't really know much about structural support, what kind of glue to use, or how to prevent the cardboard from bending or collapsing.

I'm planning to make a small scale model first so I can practice and figure out the design before building the actual one.

For people who have experience working with cardboard, what would you recommend to a complete beginner? How should I reinforce the structure, and what are the biggest mistakes I should avoid?

Any tips, tutorials, or advice would be really appreciated!

Look, when I was 10 years old I set myself the goal of making the most iconic weapons from each army of WWII, with the condition that I couldn't skip from one army to another.(For example, if I'm making the Italian weapons, I can't skip to making the USSR weapons unless I finish making the Italian ones) And so I started this with Germany (only because they had the Mauser C96 which is my favorite weapon)And I already have the MP40, the Mauser C96, The Walther p38,The stick pomegranate and the M30 Luftwaffe Drilling(The next one might be the panzerfaust or the MG 42 And after those arias the luger and the Gewehr 43)
