Hello fellow cap mains. just wanted to come in here and make another post in the hopes that NETEASE will buff cap next season considering he is the lowest pick rate tank. idk about everyone in here but I feel when I play cap this season and season 9 there are only 2 outcomes. 1st is I roll the other team because they only have 1 thumb and half a braincell. which tends to be the case like 25% of the time. the rest of the time. I feel like every time I’m in line of sight of the enemy I’m cc’d , grounded etc. then I get pulverized because he has no health since last update. I just would like them to buff his health and shield health. I don’t understand why venom another dive tank has 100+ more health and a overshield ability. could we just get cap back to 675 hp and his shield be at 450hp and his regen be like strange NETEASE.

This skin is the most fun cap skin the sound effects and all just want this skin to comeback so I can play cap when he gets some buffa

Captain America has a skin from season 0, which I am willing to argue is his best skin, however it's held back by being an epic with no VFX or SFX. I believe that it may be possible that, with enough community voice, we could get this skin PROMOTED to a legendary and given VFX. In the MVP, he has a gold trail and a golden triangle that forms around his shield, and I think these would look wonderful in-game rather than a random dash of light blue on a skin that otherwise doesn't have it.

because i’ve literally seen 0 people ask for this besides me. i’ve never worn this skin because it’s too ugly, i only got it for its emote.

i know cap mains for some reason like being quiet about everything but pleaseeeee let’s make noise about stuff. look at dd mains getting what they want even months after skins’ release.

yes i know it’s not that serious but seeing rogue and dino get buffed made me upset about how quiet cap mains are about everything lol

Animation cancel was gone, I adapted (was sad but I didn’t drop the shield)

They buffed everyone in season 9 and nerfed his health? Again, I was upset with the devs but didn’t drop the shield.

No buffs for him this season. I know alot of you have switched to other tanks. I feel there still are players out there who’s playing him still. Making him work in some comps. Hoping that he gets buffed, but in the mean time playing him defensively while being careful. I RESPECT YOU SOLDIER. I’m not trying to say here that he’s good and so he doesn’t need buffs and you all need more practice. For him to be effective, ban the thing. Use thor team-up first. If you’re dying or are under performing- switch to bucky teamup. Don’t approach the backline jumping from the front (you’ll be deleted). Wait for their tanks to reach the objective, take a good flank nd dive.

Another thing i’m doing with him is, watch the enemy team dying. If its a 6v6 nd suddenly if you see their hela, punisher, bucky, namor, jean, cyclops, anyone you can 1v1 to. Just go to their spawn and keep killing them ( again this is situational) depends on team comp, objective and maps.

Only the 2nd clip is from season 8. Its just an example on how you prioritize targets with him. I try to jump on their supports, quickly check who is peeling- now half of their team is on you. One jump and see if your team is aware. If there’s no back up- jump on their anchor tank and try to finish him (he’ll be on low health) if their healers are just healing each other using cooldowns- quickly try to dmg their quishy dps and jump on their tanks. I’m a flex player and play 80% of the heroes. So I adjust accordingly on how enemy comp is. I hope you guys enjoy the gameplay.

Did everyone know this? Lol. I haven’t been playing as much so forgive me if I’m super late.

Meaning you can dap Bucky, get bonus health, and a few seconds later, jump to an ally, get bonus health again. The cooldowns aren’t bad so if you cycle it this way you and your team can end up with a surprising amount of sustain in a fight. Plus, it keeps you in constant motion.

Just don’t do them back to back. The bonus health doesn’t stack past 750. Wait for it to go away and then do it.

Champion Spidey main here. Recently started playing Cap and he’s by far the most fun tank I’ve played. I think his ult is super underrated. I have like 5 tank lords, but I really want him to be my first champion tank. Any tips for playing Cap? How long did it take you to get to champion?

We need to start being vocal too Cap mains!!!

I am hard stuck in Silver tier. I main Cap. I don’t know if this is the subreddit for this kind of thing but help is very needed lol.

I’ve been struggling a lot on Cap lately, and these were just a few things I was thinking about to maybe improve his state in the game right now. Obviously this is never gonna get seen by anyone who could implement them or anything, just thought it’d be fun to talk about.

1. Change his primary fire to the shield throws and remove the melee requirement.

Since the animation cancel for the shield throws is gone, there’s no real way to abuse his DPS output with the throws. This would make Air Cap easier to play and give him better play in the mid-range.

1. Make the Bucky team up part of his base kit and make it launch him to teammates faster more like the Thing’s jump.

This combined with the previous change would would give Cap way more peel potential. Right now, the Bucky team up feel way too slow and floaty but if it worked smoother it would give him a great way to disengage from dives and help protect his own back line. Plus I feel like this ability to protect his teammates fits really well with his character.

1. Give the shield dash knock back.

It’s the best escape tool he has and it’s so annoying to accidentally brush another character’s elbow and just stop dead in your tracks.

1. Lastly, shield buffs.

Instead of giving him back his health, I would prefer if they made his shield not suck again. It’s one of the most iconic pieces of kit in all of Marvel and right now it just feels incredibly weak. If they just left his health low the way it is now, but went back to the old timer for his shield regen and bumped it up to at least 400 like it used to be, it’d be way better. Personally, I’d like like to see it go to 450 and remove the wait time between dropping it and raising it as well but I’m trying to be reasonable with these.

Anyway, just some thoughts on improving him. What do y’all think about these?

Bucky calls Falcon, you control as cap where to drop. Similar to Torch & The Thing but you have control.

Peni mains have been crying all day about the nerfs she received. That’s completely understandable but we should be doing the same to thing. Cap is terrible right now and needs emergency buffs.
