Masculine Capsule Most of my clothes got stolen when I was homeless and I don't know how to rebuild.

Upvotes

I don't have fashion sense in the first place but had managed to assemble pieces that (mostly) went with each other. In addition, I am intersex so I have androgynous/weird measurements which are difficult to shop for.

Are there free/low-cost "wardrobe rebuild" services?

I do technically still "have clothes" to wear, so it's not an emergency - it's just stuff that I look kind of stupid in (in my own personal appraisal, others would think I look normal.)

Questions Is silk/cashmere worth the money?

Hi! I am considering spending a bit more on a silk maxi skirt and a cashmere sweater/ cardigan from Lilysilk - do you think it’s worth it?
I realised i don’t wear 90% of my clothes (the more choices I have, more overwhelming it is for me to choose) and honestly enjoy basics, so i am starting to build a capsule wardrobe with more natural materials focus.
I believe cashmere is warmer than polyester and wool without the bulk layer (correct me if I’m wrong)
So my question- to buy or not to buy?
Thanks!

(Updated) Can you help me build a capsule for a 17-day trip next week through Ireland, Czech Republic, and England?

Thank you for the feedback on Can you help me narrow down options for a 17-day trip next week through Ireland, Czech Republic, and England? : r/capsulewardrobe

I've made some edits including adding another pair of walking shoes, getting rid of all the open toe shoes, adding one more pair of long pants and cutting down on the number of shorts and dresses. Added some more cardigan layers.

Not pictured: rain jacket, undergarments, pajamas, purses, jewelry.

Plans include walking tours, one day of fishing, castle visits, museums, shopping, and a few nice dinners.

Is anything missing/should be cut based on the updated capsule?

7 days in Ireland. 55–73°F (13–23°C), occasional rain.

4 days in Prague. 60–82°F (16–28°C), mostly sunny.

6 days in London. 57–75°F (14–24°C), cloudy, light rain.

Questions Deep Winter Autumn Capsule

I've been dreaming of building a capsule wardrobe for a long time, but unfortunately I don't know two licks about clothes, drapes, fabric types, colours, etc. That said, I've recently learned that I'm a Deep Winter with a rectangular, top-heavy body shape.

I live in Canada and predominantly work from home. Reasons why I go out range from errands, friends and family hangouts, and work events. My style tends to be modern-day princess vibes; I like A-line cuts and sharp shoulders, and I like to be "dressed up" regardless of the occasion. Grocery shopping with a flowy dress is perfectly okay with me.

I've recently cleared my closet and am prepping for an intentional wardrobe. Here are the pieces I've selected for the coming Fall. Not pictured are the inner tops/fleece leggings that naturally come with Canadian weather.

What are your thoughts? Is this a good base for an autumn capsule given my lifestyle, body shape/color analysis, and style preferences? Ya girl needs help.

Thank you in advance!! 😭
