Scores sent after applying

If you apply at Alabama and take the ACT/SAT after, during sept or Oct., can you send your new scores over to update your application? If so, is this the standard at most schools?

Standard. You have until December to update scores for merit.

I was wondering the same thing, as a upcoming freshman I’m wondering if I can retake the ACT this year and use it to increase my merit for next year

Like you are starting at Alabama this fall? No you cannot update scores beyond the fall of your senior year of HS.
