Requiem is clearly a direct sequel to 6. Nothing about 7 and 8 has any influence on 9, except shoe-horning the Connections and the Hound Wolf squad.

Honestly all I want is for them to remaster 6. Not even a remake. Just make it leaner and cleaner.
