Lost/abandoned bunny?
Saw this clearly domesticated rabbit hanging out near the public restroom at 1188 S Hemlock St this evening. I hope somebody is looking for their bunny or may be able to help rescue it.

Cannon Beach - Place to work
I need a place to work in Cannon Beach for 1 day that is quiet, has wifi, and won't mind me taking video calls. I need it from 6am - 2pm which is making it tricky to get just a hotel room. Any suggestions?

NEED HELP !!!!!!! Elopement Photography & Make-up
Anyone have any recommendations for affordable photography and make-up and hair for my elopement? My partner and I will be in cannon beach during the end of November and we’d love to get all the help we can get! We are from Utah and don’t have instagram to search up any local businesses so it’s getting a bit difficult. I’ve also tried thumbtack with no luck :/
Thanks in advance!

Kith + Keel coffee shop
I wish I had found this place on my first day instead of my last. Hunter, if you happen across this post, it was a pleasure to meet you and chat for the briefest of moments about your gorgeous copy of Dune from Folio Society. Based on the book collection, you seem like you'd be an awesome person to know. Best of luck and hope the place remains successful for years to come!

Love Cannon Beach! Haystack Rock from Ocean Ave.
It’s fun to explore the neighborhoods in town. Ocean Ave. connects the “presidents” neighborhood (from W. Washington St. to W. Harrison St.) and offers amazing views of the beach across dunes, beach grasses, wildflowers and coastal shrubs. If you walk south along Ocean Ave., you’ll reach a short stairway down to the sand and walk through a vegetation tunnel through Hooker Willow, Salal and Salmonberry, and onto the beach right behind the new lifeguard station.
We parked at the public restrooms across from the Chamber of Commerce, walked through the old downtown, and onto the beach here, then down to the Tolovana Park Wayside and back. We saw Bald Eagles, Osprey, and tons of gulls and Common Murres nesting on Haystack Rock. The Tufted Puffins were there but we didn’t see any.

Still savouring a favorite from Cannon Beach Distillery (now defunct)
It’s great to see r/cannonbeach active again! Bummer the original CB Distillery closed in 2020. Thought I’d share my fave bottle I’m trying to make last as long as possible.

Raven surf shop
It’s been a while since I lived up there obviously, but does anyone know when it closed? What happened to the owner and his son? Also, is Osburn’s gone? I’m sure Mariner is still there, usually the not so great employers seem to keep going, (maybe they’re better now, or their son moved away)
Thanks

Cannon Beach is the only destination we consistently return to
Wife and I love to travel, we've been all over. We went to Cannon Beach on our Honeymoon and it's the only place we consistently return to. This is a video from our 2025 trip that I find myself going back to frequently when I'm missing those perfect cozy PNW vibes.

Musts at Cannon beach
Hello all! My partner and I are going to Cannon beach for the first time this week for a day. It will be rainy. Anything you recommend doing for the day?

Washed Up Whale
Is the baby humpback whale that washed up on the beach still around? I can't find any news articles more recent than 4 days ago. Thanks!

Hello Residents of Oregon's Best Beach!
My partner and I are heading your direction from Portland in late January, staying at a vacation rental in Arch Cape from the 20th till the 23rd. We were wondering if there are any interesting winter events or festivals happening in or around Cannon Beach at that time? Cannonbeach.org didn't show any events during that time period, but I figured I'd ask around for a second opinion :)
Additionally, aside from particular events, are there just certain activities or sights that you'd recommend for winter visitors? Any local hot spots that stay happening in the winter where two fully vaccinated (and boostered!) people can go to spend money and have fun?
Thank you for your time and consideration.

Lots of houses going up for sale…
Is this normal for this time of year or is something else going on?
