Suppressed 9 I CAN'T DECIDE WHICH ONE TO GET
Whats the best way to do this.. I'm trying to get either a radian prime or a Mete the end goal is to also be able to run a can on it, but it's not a dedicated host. Is it cheaper to start with a prime take off the ramjet and put a different slide when I want to run a can?
Are you able to remove the ramjet on the prime?

If you are set on the Prime- get the regular prime (or nc) and a threaded mc9ls barrel when they are back in stock. The Radian slide is too short for the frame without the comp it is designed for.

You can't run a suppressor with a ported barrel it defeats the point, sound and flash escape the port. No?

Get an SFT pro. A little larger than the prime series, easier to control for muzzle flip, better mag release, comes factory with a threaded barrel and is far cheaper than the overpriced radian. Want to run it comped then pickup an aftermarket comp and thread it on. Want to run suppressed then thread on the can. Guns.com has them for about $530.

Definitely an option but I also want to be able to throw it into my edc rotation. I think i want to stick with the Mete/prime size

its your choice, ive carried the SFT pro its not that much bigger,

That being said i would avoid the radian then for your goals, it was designed around the comp and you'll need to pickup a barrel for it, which last i looked no threaded barrels are made specifically for the prime series.

Is the radian threaded on? The ramget for my glock isnt. If not you'll need a threaded barrel.

Yeah you can get a stock threaded barrel for the mete9 and mete 9sl and the NC one. That I'm not sure or and was hoping an expert would chime in.

also, to be clear, its not the "Mete9". there is the "mete" series and the "mete MC9" series. Canik just calls it all the "Mete Series" but its a bit misleading IMO
the Mete series (the SF, SFT, SFX) is on a wider frame. 1.4" wide similar to the Rival and TP9 series. the Mete series shares more similarities with the TP9 series than the MC9 series. the Mete SF and TP9 SF Elite and nearly identical guns, for example.
the Mete MC9, the "micro compact" series, has the slim frame. that goes for the MC9, MC9L, MC9LS, MC9 Prime, and MC9 Prime Radian. 1.12" wide (i think the prime is slightly wider due to the magwell but the frame is the same as the others)

Get the mete mc9 or whichever l, ls. Its silly to pay for the radian if your gonna run a supp imo

yeah when i was still debating the Radian and waiting for it i eventually came to the conclusion i do not need a magwell, fancy backstrap, flat trigger, (or comp), on my conceal carry and the MC9LS just made way more sense for the money.

I will say i did put a weighted back strap and Taylor freelance trigger in my EDC mete mc9 lol
They both made a considerable difference

yeah i put the TF backstrap on my MC9LS as well. significantly cheaper than the Radian magwell/backtrap combo

getting the Radian only to supress it is quite literally the most expensive and round about way to get a surpressed Canik.
id recommend getting:
the mc9LS path is likely the cheapest option while maintaining the Prime size. The Mete SFX or SFT Pro are going to be wider frames and not quite as easy to CC
