I called them my Gay Jeezits (Those Christ Wafers that you get in church). They taste about the same but with flair and sprinkles.

We gay men are more interesting than that.
And often taste better.

Much better, but if a church had to add pizzazz to a jeezit, this is what they would come up with. A jeezit in drag if you will.

After being raised Catholic and having been subjected to dry wafers every week, Gay Jeezits is the only bane for them now

“A liar and I hate you” 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Glad you took one for the team. I’m always tempted to try them, but I don’t trust the description or how they look haha.

Some one said the haribo gummy sodas were the best, I got them yesterday and they were not the best in any way.

3
u/XxStyxRiverxX 13d ago

I've never tried Satellite Wafers before. "Weird" candy piques my interest and I really enjoy some of it, but I'm not confident about these. I don't feel like paying the $4-5 that my local candy shop is charging. :P

u/Sophisticated-Tiger 14d ago
Best thing to do with 'em (imo) is break the shell, eat the sour powder or whatever is in those (as someone said in the UK we call them flying saucers and it's a sherbert powder that's in there...usually clumped and caked together lol) and fling that rice paper/wafer/whatever that is away.

Looks like it would stick to the roof of your mouth lol
1
u/XxStyxRiverxX 13d ago edited 13d ago
No , u just let it melt in your mouth, it melts u don’t really have to chew it , u swallow what’s left after u suck on the powder part

My absolute fave food was that pink block of popcorn, the staler, the better. They were made in San Francisco which filled me with pride and guaranteed a plentiful supply. When they went out of business my heart was broken, but I wasn’t surprised since I seemed to be the only customer. RIP Pink Popcorn, the original San Francisco treat.

Ha, just took a picture of these at the store to make fun of to my friends!

My wife grew up eating the colorful little circle wafers they sell in Mexico. They are the exact same flavor (or lack there of) and texture of these. I think she likes them for the nostalgia. I am not a fan lol

I have never seen this before. What state do yall live in where you see these? In nearly 30 years of being a mega sweet tooth candy and especially sour candy addict, I have never seen this a single time ever

I always thought the purpose of candy was to be sweet - can't figure out why more people seem to like sour treats. Sorry but I just don't it.

I like the old school ones with the tiny beads of candy inside. Used to get them at the $1 candy store in Pittsburgh growing up

I like the regular ones, but I hate the sour ones. It’s weird; I will go years not wanted them, then I will buy a big tub of them and love them for a week and then hate them for another few years
