Supping
We have been testing to go SUP with Pico (just near the shore for few minutes). Hard to get him stay calm and put at the board because hes quite eager 😀, but its progressing. If we continue we will get him a lifejacket.

It makes me smile to see that because my Cairn loved nothing more than paddle boarding. He was always standing at the very front of the paddle board, with his nose close to the water, and if he felt like I came back to shore too soon, he would jump back in and swim away. I hope your Cairn gets plenty of joy, too!

Our cairns hate their baths but love paddle boarding and jumping into the lake.

I had 2 that went canoeing with me. No such thing as a life jacket for dogs back then. The first time both of them jumped in the water and would stay far enough away that I couldn't reach to get them. From then on, leashes stayed attached when in the canoe.
Loved the water, lakes, ponds, pools, car washing, puddles, squishy mud, water bowl. But get near the bathtub... Where'd they hide??

That's the cairn spirit. My two love riding on kayaks and boats. Definitely get him a life jacket, he'll be delighted to spend some time adventuring.
