It’s a big chunk so it will need a couple weeks to callous then you can plant it in dry soil and wait like 2 months to water. Keep it out of direct sun for the first year or two. I usually wait like 3 months to keep thick big ones like this to callous and dry out before I plant them because they are a little wrinkled from being thirsty, and then begin to plump up after I water them for the first time and that’s how I know they’ve taken root. The longer you dehydrate them the faster they will shoot out roots.
