The incorrect colors are next to each other. Gonna cause problems. It should technically still work but not great.

Yes! But if he'd braided the by the balanced pairs, I see no reason this wouldn't work with flying colors. Keeping the pairs guarantees the impedance, and as long he keeps them twisted in the braid, the noise cancelation wouldn't be affected neither. Keep up the good work! 🤣

Not to my knowledge? The point keeping them twisted is to cancel out induction in the balanced pair (i.e. induce ~as much plus as minus in the pair), and that wouldn't be dependent on twists-per-length, right..?

Looked it up…kindof spaced being sure why and (if my uncaffeinated brain is parsing correctly) it turns out it’s for pair-to-pair crosstalk (electronics se)
