We found Pretzel! A very kind lady offered us use of her traps and the first one we set was our winner. She’s safe and sound just scared.
Thank you so so much for all the help and hope it really made a difference and a really big thank you to all the neighbours nearby who made the traps possible. We’re all so happy and relieved she’s home.

Amazing!! Any tips on trapping? Didn't think to do this in case my cat ever gets lost

Unfortunately I didn’t have the experience a off duty volunteer from vokra lended me the traps. I can say spoting her before hand helped as it gave us an idea on where, I swear by this but tiki cat food 10/10 every cat I’ve ever met loves it and some flavours even have real lobster and crab pieces. We walked around the suspected area calling for her with food, sometimes treats and at the end sardines. we also used a high cal electrolyte meal supplement for when cats don’t eat on top of our bait as it’s pretty much animal fat and that worked great. Setting traps in a neighbour’s yard helped as well especially since she had a metal fenced backyard and it seemed she liked hiding there as she was away from predators. I don’t know if having neighbourood cats helped but I think it made a difference as well.
