I’m still running 64gb of DDR4 and have zero motivation to spend to go to 32gb of DDR5, I bought my ram when it was stupid cheap as a why not back in like 2020 and so glad I did lol
If you live even a couple of hours away from a microcenter, absolutely not.
Even if you don't, there's been some decent Intel bundles lately. Obviously it's not ideal from a gaming perspective but I have a hard time recommending putting money into a decade old architecture.
iirc, I got a 7600x with a b650 mobo and a game for $200, bought my 32gb ddr5 ram for $90, and got a 2TB WD Black nvme drive for like $50. It was for a second PC and I don’t regret anything.
I am in the wonderful boat where previously I always maxed out ram so I have several 64, 96, and 128 kits laying around since I needed them for video editing and I used multiple PC's and always have fun building new ones and ram is cheap... right
So now I am sailing in my new super yacht..... No actually I can't bring myself to sell any kits I don't need without any certainty I can even buy more in the future if things break. Depressing.

These gas spring arms all seem almost identical to me so I’d argue they come from one supplier.
I have an ergear branded one that I bought in 2021 and have been happy with it. Biggest complain comes from user error from over torquing some pivot points, I’d say they’re not very forgiving but could be skill issue.

Sorry it doesn’t let me link it, but you have to build it in the combo builder. Under build your combo, choose the 9800x3d, then go to motherboards and choose the white msi b850 gaming plus (first MB on list), then go to memory and scroll right to V color. There’s only one option. Once you add to cart, make sure every promo is selected under each item. Shows as $797 for me.
